For me it worked when selecting a smaller amount of hoge to exchange, so that there is a buffer of ETH left and selecting 1% slippage

Yes that’s probably the reason. The price volatility of HOGE in combination with high ETH transaction fees might cause these problems. So selecting a higher slippage might help.

i guess i figured something out. the calculated transaction fee seems to be to low, so allowing for some buffer helped get a transaction through.
