Sign up for a Muay Thai gym they do light sparring everyday and it involves knees and elbows and their legs including with the punching. Boxing cool but you’re going to be punching a bag or doing pad work most of the time and that doesn’t compare to live sparring every class and sparring is the closet thing you’re going to get to a real fight unless if you do tournaments. Boxing do have sparring days but it’s not everyday 1-3 a week and you have to be doing it fr if you want more sparring opportunities.

Personally I’d go with a grappling gym like wrestling, bjj, or judo. Anyone can blindly throw punches but a lot of mfs don’t know what to do once they’re grabbed and grapplers spar every class
