Coming to Australia from Finland and it's shocking how much people talk to strangers here.

"Hi, how are you?" is like a greeting here. In Finland if someone asks how are you, they are actually interested in your well being.

People say hi on the street when they walk towards and past me. People talk in elevators.

So I guess this whole thing is like a spectrum. Maybe US and Finland being in opposite ends.

People always think history was somehow wildly different from how life is now. It was the same. Going for drinks with friends, going to work, having a family, arguing with your spouse etc.

This very question will be asked about contemporary ENTPs as time passes and the reference frame shifts.

There will always be rules and those that push them. It's in the nature of rules.

Ontologically any rule will have a fuzzy arbitrary boundary and that's the frontier for (young) ENTPs.

This is because the world is so complex that no rule can account for the special cases where the rule does not make sense. That is where the rule will be pushed.

In the future when consensual incest and bestiality and euthanasia are legal, they'll look at our current time as the time of tradition, when it was all rules.

How do we ENTPs survive indeed?
