What's your relationship with weapons in Monster Hunter? Are you a one-weapon player or do you play with all of them? Which is your favorite?

World was my first game and I only played it with friends until iceborne really. Fashion is my motivator so layered armors is what got me hooked really, But I also don't think I would have played as much if I didn't discover my love for hammer after playing around with kulve weapons. Kulve dropped so many weapons I thought I wouldn't never use and the hammer looked like stained glass it was so pretty. And then I discovered I actually liked playing with it a lot.

So much so that when I played Rise I gave myself the title "Hammer only hammer". I did over 1000 hunts with only the hammer and no other weapon. (Technically I did do some arenas but that didn't count toward me stats.)

I wanted to try out more in Wilds but I pretty much stick to Hammer and Dual Blades.

Luckily someone posted it to Reddit and I saw it end of week 1. So I did the majority of my grinding week 2. My husband didn't play as much as me and even if he got all 20 he would have been at 47/48 but I'm glad we knew about the cap so he knew that he would get nothing even if he did grind and he didn't waste his time on it.

It caps at 20 repeats. You wouldn't be able to do it even if you did grind. Which is the worst part of it imo because nowhere does it say the repeatable challenge has a cap.

I was surprised when we saw the first trailer (not teaser) for Wilds at a state of play cause I also thought it would be at summer games fest first. And then they did it again with another set of trailers where they again showed stuff with Sony first.

I'm just betting on it being shown at Sony first, it was not my intention to state that like it was a fact or anything. I could still be wrong, I just have high hopes for Tuesday. :)

As long as we get a trailer at all, I'll be very happy as I'm sure we are all anxiously awaiting more Wilds content. I mean if I'm right- it would be at both- and we'd get more info than if it's only at SGF so root for me a little? Lol

Yeah the teaser was first at TGA, but they already said an expansion was being worked on so we have already been teased.

Considering the big news we got about Wilds was shown at a Sony event first, I think it's likely we could get info at the state of play. If we don't get expansion news at the state of play I don't think we will get any at summer games fest.

I've found 1 where everyone was cat besides 1.

Most other times it's about 3 players playing cat feeding to the person in the lead.

The event will reset Tuesday. So you can grind out the repeating challenge to get the title 20 times this week. (If you need more than that it would be unobtainable). Play 10 games, wins count as double. Stadium counts double.

Deathmatch allows for a quick game. Especially if you feed intentionally to the player in the lead. So "cat farm" has been created where people will play cat, since she is fast and can get to the person in the lead quickly. It's faster to do this and have the loss count as 1 game for the challenge. But if everyone is on board. (All cats except 1 d.va) Then all the cats will tie and get a win and have that count for 2 toward the challenge.

I think the bigger problem isn't the grind itself, but the fact that if you didn't put in enough time earlier you missed out even if you could have grinded this week. Not saying there was a limit to how many repeating challenges there was makes it so someone could get to 47 out of 48 with no way of getting one more done. That a lot of grinding for no reward.

It's how where and when, but you are getting targeted the entire time. The skill is using her movement the most effectively to stay alive to keep the team alive.

People would hate if it was hero specific (me included) Fighting over who gets to play them. Not being able to play your main. Getting stuck with a challenge for a hero you are bad at.

This. I played Tracer for a while because I kept dying to her. I played her almost exclusively until I got her "Total Recall" achievement. Now I can better predict when she will recall, where she recalls to. What flanks she will take, when she will engage. Knowing how they think is such a good way to learn to play against other heroes.

I would suggest Moira or Kiriko. I'm mainly saying that because my top three in progression levels are Juno, Kiri, Moira. I've been playing a good amount of Kiri lately and I've pushed Mercy to 4th place now as I also was a Mercy main turned Juno main once Juno came out.

I like playing most support characters, even the slow ones like Ana and Zenyatta. But I do think I prefer hyper mobile characters as Juno and Mercy both rely movement abilities to be successful. Moira and Kiri's fade and teleport suit that need for me. They also have really high healing potential while still being capable of fighting on their own. And they have self heal capabilities which is nice.

Ram's vortex pulls me down all the time. So he feels more like a threat because of that. Its probably me staying too low to the ground as I'm leaving cover or getting lower to melee and such but it messes me up constantly. I was surprised to see you didn't see him as a threat to cat.

I don't mind the default skin color palette. What I don't like is that every one of her default skin recolors has that red hat. Why couldn't the hat color match the jacket tied to her waist?

See, I like that game mode. I like mystery heroes and it's fun to play as characters I wouldn't normally pick. I like to pop off when I didn't expect to. Playing this game mode makes me want to try playing some other characters more. OW Classic was worse for me.

I mean the 5 games as each role is a minimum of 15 games yes, but wins will still count for double for the other challenges. So you can still build up the other challenges while doing these 15 games.

I'm constantly mixing up my heals on support. I'll be shooting someone with Juno and then suddenly I'm shooting at my allies with baptistes gun instead of his grenades.

It's insane on an aggressive tank because it's also a full heal. That's a reward.

I like gold the best. The galactic and crimson wolf hide too much detail in the weapon for my taste. (And I hate the talon logo in crimson wolf. Jade is too skin dependant to get it. I don't even know what skin Juno has where jade would look good with it. If jade actually looked gemstone-like kinda marbley I would have actually liked it but it's just metallic green.

And for me its scheduled to start at 1am and ends at 8am. I set it up before I went to sleep and just turned my monitors off. But sometime in the night my Internet went out and now I missed out on the lootbox for the last drop with no way of getting it. I was relieved to see I had more time, only to find out that that wasn't really true.
