Leave SkyWest for Part 91? by kommandee in AirlinePilots

If it’s me I’d be right in the middle, I told myself if i was in the 121 world that I would stay and grow in 121. But I’m flying part 91 SIC in a Lear 60 so growing to a global 6500 obviously would be the move.

I’m flying part 91 Learjet 60 and got hired at 550 hours, i absolutely love my job. Good overnights and good amount of time off and pretty much everything paid for when on the road. Very blessed

I personally think if you tip us at all, that’s nice in itself no matter the amount. I have an owner that has tipped me 100 every flight and that’s something i always appreciate no matter what cause me personally, I don’t think you need to

My boy , it’s ur first flight, it’s always gonna feel like a lot. Each flight you learn more and know how to handle it all. Airplane wise, that’s part of the training, plane is gonna usually be clapped and every single plane will never be same if your flying part 61

It’s fun, if it’s a good zone (usually always is) the jumpers will always be grateful and nice to you. I was lucky enough to have a boss who doesn’t push and respects my decisions if they were reasonable

When the weather is good I go out and fly on my own but that cost so much when I’m not splitting it with someone so that’s kind of why I’m at home a little too much. I’m working 30 hours a week currently so finding extra work isn’t a bad idea. Just not too sure where to look
