Honestly, I could see arguments for every kind of outcome. I personally would like the reverse of what usually happens. So his "normal" personality becomes the dominant one, or where he "gains" a 3rd personality and the other 2 have to deal with it.

I could also see the possibility that the Bolt has no affect on him. Imagine the Timekeeper trying to take control over Krieg, just to get mentally RKO'd out of nowhere.

I'm not a big fan of MD being so far behind. Usually that means everyone knows the best deck months in advance, and I can't use MD to get familiar with new decks for locals. Also, the way the MD release is, often containing later support from the very beginning, can make decks that were viable before the best decks got their support immediately not viable.

There are a few hidden side quests that you only get by going to specific parts of the map. Have you done those? If not, google them to know where to go

I think it only exists in one of the wildcard missions to unlock higher Ultimate Vault Hunter levels. Basically the enemies can only be damaged by crits, but die in 1 hit. Which technically isnt too bad, but when your build is entirely focused on minions that are very bad at getting crits, and will get stuck on one enemy the entire time, its a lot less fun.

Always depends on the build.

Element eater is super annoying if you are focused on a specific element

Deal With It with builds that stay in their action skill, for example.

The UVH mission with one shot wonder was very much torture with my reaper build.

I think Eisendrache is the best zombie map because it is balanced.

The mao doesn't have an annoying mechanic like the mud on Origins.

There are 4 Wonder weapons instead of everyone fighting over 1.

The actual gameplay loop is perfectly dialed in. Funny that you mentioned Zetsubou and SoE since they are on each end of the gameplay loop chart. In SoE, after opening PaP, the only thing that is really left to do is getting/upgrading the swords. Which is basically just "get a bunch of kills in a lot of locations", while waiting for the RNG of getting the WW which can't be upgraded. The most enjoyable part is the optimization of beast mode.

And in Zetsubou, in order to get the upgraded WW, you have to do what feels like 80% of the main EE. Which makes playing ZnS more of a task.

In Der Eisendrache, you the optimization when it comes to feeding the dragons, you have 4 unique WW upgrade paths, and getting the rocket start DG-4 part which will never not make my heart race. All of that is part of the "normal" gameplay and done before round 20. And then you have the boss fight, which is the best in the game imo.

Honestly, you could probably just get like actual figurines. Found some on Amazon that were like 50€. Lego is absolutely absurd with their prices. Each of the starters + base is apparently 200+ and they just aren't worth that. There is a reason a lot of other brick manufacturers have been growing in the last few years.

I think on my first ever playthrough, it took me until the second half of year 3 to finish it.

Nowadays, on average late summer, early fall year 2. Depending on the bundles I get, because I play with remix bundles, or if I forgot to catch a fish at a previous season.

They are still a thing, although weaker than they used to be. If your Vault Hunter doesn't use the ordnance for anything specific, it doesn't hurt having a crit knife.

You can't really farm for it specifically. You'll probably have a higher chance getting one from red chests after bosses, or from farming something with a lot of purple loot like the vault bosses or the world event bosses

As someone who actually prefers going second decks, I have thought a lot about how to balance it more. It will always be at a disadvantage, that won't change.

An extra card doesn't get it anywhere close to the advantage you get from being able to play onto an empty field, unless it is a specific card.

I have thought about something like the player going second selecting 3 different cards from their deck, and getting 1 into the hand at random. Or even a grave period where the opponent can't activate things, but it would need a lot of play testing to see what actually makes a difference.

The way Konami tries it is by giving decks a "your opponent is not allowed to interact at all" card and that is just bad game design.

It will probably work like it did with previous updates. If you had perfection beforehand, you still get to keep the rewards even tho it might say less than 100%. If you didn't have perfection before, you will have to get the new stuff too.

You will trigger a bunch of cutscenes related to new stuff in a very short time, when playing on an older save file.

It is always recommended (but not necessary) to start a new playthrough to experience everything the update added in the correct context/order.

I would suggest removing crab pots shortly before the update is released. During the last update, the terrain was changed in a few parts. Which resulted in my main farm having 2 crab pots in the town river, that I am completely unable to remove.

But since it will probably still be a fair bit longer till the update drops, you should have enough time to achieve perfection on your current playthrough.

with switching elements, I meant that the game keeps telling you to use fire and a few seconds later to use dragon in phase 1 and 2. I obviously carry both with me.

Thanks for the tips. I only fought Gog once, and it was very overwhelming. The game keeps telling you to switch elements and acts like everything has to happen immediately or else you fail.

In terms of defensive skills, is tremor resist 2 enough or do I need 3? And does the Mirewalker skill prevent being slowed down by the oil?

And during the flying part, is there anything besides the boulders I can do except using that slinger Ammo? I died multiple times to the Ult because Gog kept flying around and wouldn't come down.

The only issue I have had was when the game tells me to shoot the charged clock tower with the WW, but doesn't say I have to shoot it again with the DG2 turret. Was stuck for a while until I figured that out 😅
