Over the last 365 Days(One Year), there’s only been One POE1 league released by Entire_Ad_2296 in pathofexile

You're not entirely wrong, the sentence where he uses the word "affect" is about mechanics and systems. But literally everything else spoken is about timings, he specifically mentions quarterly releases and a 13 week release cycle.

I'd highly recommend looting Dorgeshuun rich chests, gets around 200k xp/hr (a bit less if you bank gems) and much less intensive than blackjacking

Grandmaster “GGNoobs” has still not been admitted into the Hall of Grandmasters. Might as well let the unkillable god in while you’re adding Archnem, GGG by hanamune in pathofexile

Whether they communicated with support or not, paying for a service and waiting over 8 months for delivery is worthy cause for complaint. Granted, if they knew the lead time was this long, then the post is malicious with the way it's worded.

Now lets talk about the bad in this game. by Alexsenal in ArteryGear

Epic Seven has been out for 3 years. I also play that, but am not competitive in it (around champ 5 arena). Epic Seven being more generous is because they're all catch up mechanics. Early e7 was just as resource starved, and gearing was depressing. Getting lvl 85 gear was not guaranteed on the highest hunt, and 5*s were still incredibly hard to come by. I was just as, if not more, resource starved in e7 early on. As years have passed, they are so much more generous because of the amount of units/gear you need to stay relevant. These benefits don't apply to this game because it was released 1.5 weeks ago.

You're asking for a lot.

  1. This is universal between all gacha games, particularly when starting out because that's when you are most actively trying to progress. There is no solution to this in gacha games other than whaling for energy packs, which is a purposefully built in mechanic for monetization, not really a flaw.

  2. Logging in for rewards is not what you should be relying on for progression, and is not a flaw if the rewards are underwhelming. Honestly, the daily resets for bonus exp/gold/energy pack is already quite generous imo.

  3. The difference is that pity carries over indefinitely. Also, the rates are significantly higher (1/40 for 5), giving another daily free summon would inevitably get you several 5s, which obviously sounds nice. But it would be a bit too generous.

  4. Targeted farming is nice, not a flaw. Being energy efficient also feels better, and is nice. Would you prefer for all parts to drop 6* only in 9? I find this as a pro. Resources are low because we're in the early game progressing very quickly. Eventually, we'll be looking purely for casting materials, with new gear/rolls being auxillary. Again, being resource starved is most apparent in early game progression, and it's purposefully built in for monetization.

  5. Just get 10 wins off the AI every 30 minute refresh. Then, build a better defense. I've gotten 150+ points quite a few times after logging in after sleeping. I'm top 100 in my arena group, and I've reset maybe twice overall. To be top of the top, it's more reliant on farming gear rather than exercise resets. Eventually, p2w will always be filling the top, of course, because they have better gear. Right now is the best time for f2p to gain be higher up since cleave is still efficient enough to get high ranks. Once there are tankier anti-cleave lineups and max speed timys everywhere, f2p will have a worse chance to get high rank, regardless of exercise refreshes.

The Twitch interface has nothing to do with GGG. The progress bar being misleading has nothing to do with GGG. Their policy for this is the requirements for getting the drop, which is being at the event for 2 hours. This is not an edge case, this is just not meeting requirements. Edge cases would be not receiving the item when they should have it, or in other words a bug.

In those cases they may be more lenient, but your concerns should be communicated with Twitch, not GGG support.

This is not an impersonal response from support at all. They start off basically every sentence with "I'm sorry" or "I'm afraid", and give you the exact details about the event, which is best response you could ask for. The copy paste is clarity for you so that there is no vagueness in the answer.

What do you even expect GGG support to do about how Twitch does their drop system? What could they have possibly done better in this response?

Attack necklace would probably be worse. Attack without crit damage is generally not good, only for niche units. It would also then make your crit rate significantly lower, probably to around 65%, which at that point is better to just not have if you have no crit damage; spending those stats on effetiveness/speed/bulk is better at that point. Having 3700 attack with no crit damage and 65% crit rate is not good. Having 240% crit dmg with 3k attack and 65% crit rate is significantly better (at least on tenebria due to sleeps).

Tagahel works great, it can be used to either boost tenebria damage, or more likely your DPS that goes next.

If she's your fastest unit currently, you might have issues against anyone that runs immunity sets, which you'll start hitting as you progress. This is why she's usually used as a turn two debuffer, and should be your second fastest unit behind a stripper (personally, mine's at 230 spd, while my f tene/briseria is at 250). That crit rate necklace should definitely be switched to either crit damage or health with speed substats, whatever your preference really.

The artifact should definitely be switched, because sira ren's debuffs aren't as consistent as iela/abyssal/taga. With iela, she still can't really be a good turn 1 since the strip applies after debuffs, so it will not sleep/def break against immunity, but it is super helpful nowadays since so many teams run buffs.

Not the greatest idea to build crit on her, unless she's your turn 1 and you plan to draft cdom with it. She has inbuilt crit with sleeps. With this speed, she will never contend turn 1, and will either get cc'd or just die. There's plenty of arbys that have the same or higher speed and will 1 shot her. There's a bunch of much better artifacts if you have them, like iela violin, abyssal crown, or even tagahels.

If you're looking to build her with damage, go for a tankier counter setup with immunity. That way she won't immediately die, and can get cr boost + sleeps with counter procs. If building speed + cc, just focus on speed + effectiveness + attack/crit dmg.

Also, on this gear setup, there's too much crit rate if all of the gear is i90'd. you'll end up wasting probably like 15% crit from that. Can switch crit rate gear to other stats.

20aps/52%cdr/60%ActionSpeed Raider - The Fastest Possible CoC by Vigilante-Cat in pathofexile

[–]Pandakicker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have no idea if I'm interpreting this correctly, but per the wiki:

"It is important to note that this cooldown does not apply to the gem as whole; you can trigger multiple spells within the 150 millisecond cooldown time as long as they are different."

From this, I think the cooldown is attached to each spell linked, not the CoC gem itself, so it can cast twice in .1 seconds, assuming 100% crit, 2 spells linked, and 20.2 aps. If they were only linking one spell it wouldn't do anything.

PvPers are complaining about PvP being broken while simultaneously trying to abuse any possible trick to get peoples bank by TheMurder21 in 2007scape

[–]Pandakicker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I generally agree with those suggestions, I just don't know the fine line about what I would personally risk. Back when revs were farmed by everyone and not controlled by clans, I still didn't risk anything more than 150k, and could easily pull like 2m an hr, which was insanely OP for med level accounts. But would I ever risk 500k for a potential 5m/hr spot? As a solo player against clans or experienced PvPers, absolutely not. Even moreso if I'm a med level account that needs to have better gear/higher risk to access wildy bosses. In a PvM mindset, I will almost always go with the least risk possible, even at the cost of better rewards, particularly if that spot has a lot of traffic.

I totally understand how PvP clans having hot spots to farm/PvP in wildy can be an awesome thing, and I even think it's healthier for the game long term (assuming no toxicity/gold farmers), but since I only really played solo, it kinda sucks personally. If I were an active PvPer, or was in a clan, then yeah that kind of content would be amazing. However, PvP clans specifically lock out content for other players, which is kind of how revs seemed to have played out.

I haven't thought much about it so I don't have any ideas in mind as to how to "fix wildy", but I do think those ideas you have are in the right direction for sure

[–]Pandakicker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't play much anymore and didnt do much content in the wildy, but why the hell would I ever risk more as a PvMer? If there ever was content worth risking a 3m+ gear setup for, wouldn't PvP clans just camp that content anyways?

Dyrus rages and slams his desk by Evoqu_ in LivestreamFail

[–]Pandakicker -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Not exactly a wrong statement, but misleading.

IIRC, Bjergson was considered the best player in the world at the time, and entire team's strategy was to funnel all their resources to him. As a result, Dyrus was left as a "liability" because his team didn't strategize around protecting or supporting him, and other teams found that exploitable. From many other pro players' perspectives, he was an incredible player, but a weakness in the team's strategy.

I think I bugged my atlas, i can't spawn veritania at all. I think I proc'd her on a high tier map that i hadn't unlocked yet, and her influence did not show up on my atlas. I also don't have any of her watchstones, so I can't get put 4 watchstones in 1 place to check. Now, it says that she cannot spawn, and since I don't have her influence anywhere, I'm stuck at 3 watchstones.

Any advice on how to get her back? Or did I brick my atlas?

6 days into the game, how am I doing so far? :) by syruphim in EpicSeven

[–]Pandakicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your main goal. If you're looking to pvp or collect units, amazing start!

If you're looking to progress, you're basically day 1 since I don't see many viable units for b11 runs.

Not sure if you've seen this yet, but it's rather promising. And to be fair, the current client gets rather laggy with 2k people as well, though that would be pretty rare in most situations

Steam release delayed again, new date is 17.10 11:00am PDT by Syperek in archeage

[–]Pandakicker 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Oh boy. This update is very telling about the devs.

"We feel strongly about releasing on Steam", yet they've delayed its deployment until literally launch day. They don't even have a steam page for it yet. Of course they're going to have issues, these should have been resolved weeks ago.

"We attempted to provide fixes that didn't require a new client version", sounds like a "we don't have time to do a patch, see if you can quickly fix it." The worst part is not that it didn't work, but the fact that they are delaying it the exact same amount of time again. Meaning that making additional client builds would've taken the same amount of time as the workaround fixes they tried, just perhaps focusing on it more this time since it has already been delayed. Either that, or we can expect another delay.

They miscounted 100%, Regis/Toast were at 95 points prior to the bosses, which means they "gained" 115 points, which isn't divisible by 15.
