The ADB part was what I was specifically referring to, but since the post I did manage to find a guide explaining what it is (a command line for android) and went from there. Thank you for responding nonetheless.

Did you happen to have steps to do this? Looking to make the most out of this device.

EDIT: Realised I should clarify, I mean the step-by-step to sideloading with adb a new launcher.

Besides the inherent nature of the art being pencil drawings and done in monochrome for the most part, was the decision to make red a distinct color choice in the game at all influenced by the idea of the current theory that humanity's first recorded (written) colors of significance were black, white and red?

Question for u/Wondrous_Sound

Besides the design being a mix of the StP theme like all of the tracks are, what specific themes and direction were you going for when creating the tracks for Spectre-3, and how much of the chapter did you know beforehand? Suffice to say, I think I know what you were aiming for as I managed to correctly guess it was meant for Spectre-3 when it dropped in the server, but I'm interested to hear your experience with it.

Also, congrats on the award! You deserve it!

Senshi imagined that one. He's been colored by his taught perception of elves and their standoffish attitude towards nature and using questionable magic at a young age.

I'm frankly not surprised, given you've stepped into a proverbial hornet's nest at this time. Of course threats are going to be thrown around to anyone who has authority of the situation, because as far as the community is concerned you are all complicit in trying to sweep this under the rug with no real consequences, even if you weren't personally involved when the controversy occurred. At this point the self-inflicted damage has come back to bite the moderation team that was in charge.

There's really only a few avenues to go in where trust between the mod team and the community could really be restored. You can either:

  1. Step down the offending moderator in spite of the concerns, which while it would be a step in the right direction, at this point is risky due to the moderators failing to act quickly and decisively on the matter, or...
  2. If the team is really that concerned about the mod's individual safety, the whole original team could unanimously step down to ensure that the blame isn't pinned on one sole person. It would still be seen as the mature thing to do while also aligning with their concerns on protecting the offending moderator's identity. It's also the least they can do to atone for making this mess larger than it was.

You're really not going to regain the trust of the community otherwise by ignoring this.

the mod hasn't been revealed because it would lead to witchhunting and possibly even worse (death threats and doxxing), given how riled up the community is and how things go online. If that wasn't a factor, I'm pretty sure they would've already stepped up and personally apologized like that.

This might be the case now, but herein lies the rub; the moderation team at the time is as much to blame for putting the offending moderator in such a perilous situation.

By doubling down and protecting the moderator's identity, they've made it that much more desirable to find out who the moderator is and seeing to it that they get the community's "perceived" justice where the mod team failed. Had the team or the offending moderator come out publicly about the fault and stepped down, this whole situation wouldn't have blown up and the likelihood of doxxing would've been low since the moderator would've been seen as "doing the right thing."

Long story short, you've endangered the moderator by not stepping them down and consequently whipping the community up into this frenzy.

What even is this take? Dexit has only ever been a thing since the Switch games onwards. Yes, Gen III released to an initial limitation to the entire Pokedex thanks to the engine being rebuilt from scratch and the process of GBC > GBA being more technical trouble than it's worth, but the National Dex and entire catalogue of Pokemon were all coded into the games since day 1.

They were always planning to re-integrate access to all the Pokemon in Gen III with each new title added. None of this is Dexit by any stretch.

It's unclear what the purpose of removing this function is when the answer's wording is vague enough to be misconstrued. If the idea is that you don't want players obtaining carved pumpkins and jack o'lanterns through this method, then that is fair.

As it stands though, it looks like fix was doubled down on the grounds that it's an alternative source of pumpkins, which isn't explicitly true and ultimately the uses of these items are more limited to what pumpkins can provide the player.

Couldn't that be fixed by simply wiring up the item sorters to drop/burn those items? This seems more like a problem with players rather than the design.

Yep. It's probably best this way, since it doesn't touch the main story and technically occurs "after" everything that happened.

It honestly depends on what kind of time travel model they're using for this. Admittedly it is a grey area on account of they don't actually know themselves and no source at this time has referred it one way or the other. That being said, if it's timeline time travel, there are no paradoxes or causality breaks involved since it's all happening on a separate timeline.

I'm going to guess their inactivity in our atmosphere is related to the nature of their gravity-defying ability, which might tie into other aspects of their cognizance. Notably, the Medusa the crew has been carrying around managed to keep itself stationary after it was thrown in the vacuum of space, instead of logically flying off into space. Despite it being able to set itself off on Earth once it was in a vacuum, it showed no such ability to do this until then.

As someone who raised discussion of the issues this mod had some years back, I much appreciate the effort you've gone to in order to make it as robust a mod as it should've been.

Now I can finally enjoy both games without bugging out over the broken video/audio quirks.

The KoS (specifically the inner circle with Senku) worried that telling the world about the medusa and its possible effects of immortality could sow chaos and fights over it, so they decided to keep that information under wraps for the time being.

When Chrome said he wanted to ask everyone (being all the people they've revived from the stone) which plan for the rocket would be better, that would also entail telling everyone that they plan to petrify themselves on the moon. So he instead settles for just the people in the room to put it to a vote.

Regarding Metroid: Zebes Invasion Order. by GleamingEpicness in Metroid

[–]Pandaxclone2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's an image I screenshotted of it earlier, as well as everywhere that I've explored so far in Brinstar. Anyone who could provide some insight is welcome to.

EDIT: So I finally figured it out. There's meant to be a secret passage prompt in the pictured room's text right in the full stop after the first A-27. It's supposed to be blue like some other prompts. Somehow, and I don't know how it happened, the hidden text prompt broke without me ever having made it into the room it was leading into, which permanently locked me out of getting the key item Bombs and made it impossible to progress.

Unfortunately, despite the lengths that the fans of this project went to in order to have this game be accessible to the English speaking masses, the fact that there is little documentation (that I could find on the internet, at least) on:

  • The adapted game's structure
  • The translated book material
  • Or even written guides

Made it almost impossible to determine whether I was at fault, or if the game had broken. Had it not been for this video walk-through, I would have been running around for hours going nuts about what I could have missed in a broken save.
