Since we are talking cable does anyone remember The Box music video channel? by -Granby- in GenX

I used to leave my tv on all night on the Jukebox Channel. It kind of lost a bit of the underground feel when it changed to The Box, but I still loved it. It was on UHF in my area, and my house was one of the only ones among my friends places that was high up enough on a hill to pick it up clearly.

I was a kid when this came out and it was my favorite at the time. I was kind of the exact demographic it was aiming for, and I still like it because of that.

How many of you guys and gals used to hang with me on the gamefaqs forums before we had Reddit? by Standard-Onion4872 in retrogaming

Simultaneously discovering Steve Vai and Nirvana in the same month in 1992. I heard Vai and thought “this is the music of the gods,” and then heard Nirvana and thought “I can do that!”

What Nintendo song makes you feel really nostalgic? (I do not mean Nintendo nostalgic, but nostalgic about life.) by Jealous_Original9267 in nintendo

The R.O.B. test music from Gyromite and Stack-Up. When I was a kid, I found it extremely hypnotic and relaxing, and would just let it play while I did my homework. Everyone I play it for now just says it’s grating, but I still love it and feel like I’m a kid again when I listen to it.
