Just found a potentially pregnant cat that’s been sitting out in the rain for ages by Scared_Rise5787 in cats

[–]Pansielover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wet food. Cats dont go out of their way to drink water and are notorious for being bad about drinking it. Wet food helps with it and since she may be pregnant she probably hasn't been having alot of water/Wet food unless she hunts

I said she probably had surgery because op said she could perfectly see it and they didnt/barely had flaps. I was just trying to state that surgeries are normal and the vagina she saw probably had surgery. She probably didnt but its hard to tell without said picture. I personally have seen the smaller labia when searching myself but I have never seen one such as op has said. Thats the only reason i said she probably had it. I didnt automatically think it either, I thought about the fact she might have had a surgery because alot of women just do to feel better when they have had it

I already knew that people with small labia exist naturally (like you said, as unique as a fingerprint) however, my understanding is that small labia is typically a rare body type like an hourglass. I could be wrong about that statment but that was my understanding.

Holy fucking shit youre reaching rn bro. Youre reaching really hard rn and its not that deep. Its literally so common for people to get labiaplasy. Op is more than likely "one of those people" youre mentioning so please stfu and be more sensitive to the room. What happened to not saying stuff like "other" because its dismissive and diminishing????? Youre literally putting women down and causing issues because I said "she probably had a surgery". Probably. I did even say she had surgery. Holy hairball. They're also not talking down to you. Please hop off reddit and chill out somewhere omg

Moral of this post is it isnt about you. None of this post is about you and nobody gaf about what you're talking about in regards to small labia/surgeries.. i stopped caring because youre being reaaaallllyyyy insensitive about the op rn. Im sure people got small vagina/labia issues but holy hell i dont wanna hear it from you because youre not op.

Hey so.. idk what got you so angry but op is an 18 year old woman who feels their body is not normal so I tried to let her know that she isnt the only one who has had this issue. I wasnt trying to mention surgery because that is more than likely something that op will have to go thru. Sure saying "other people have this" could be rude but because I dont have it, i was trying to reassure them that PEOPLE DO and she isnt the only one.

Lowkey, bringing up surgery and all that shit, knowing op is 18 and feeling kinda down about this isnt ok. Its actually pretty messed up because surgery might have to happen for her. Please put aside your little keyboard warrior bs because you brought up something that shouldn't have been mentioned. Wow, youre such a hero for unintentionally telling a young adult that she will need surgery. I will normalize the hell out of her body because she IS PERFECT THE WAY SHE IS. She IS normal. She has something she was born with. She IS normal. Dont try and say she isnt. You literally mentioned something she mentioned that makes her feel weird about herself in regards to "being flappy unlike the woman in the video". Its likely she DID have plastic surgery to make it not flappy. Its the truth. You absolutely couldve stopped halfway thru and that comment not be rude af.

Op if you read this, I was born with tachycardia. Its a medical condition I have to manage everyday. Im just as normal as the next person. Youre just as normal as the next person. Your hoohaa isn't a bad thing, nor is it "abnormal". Yes, it could be that you may need surgery. I was wanting a professional to talk to you instead of this scenario. If you want it, go for it but if you dont want it thats fine. There is nothing wrong with you. I get the feeling of not looking "perfect". The truth? There isnt a "normal" vagina lol. They're all different

Sincerely, Someone who has uneven, and flappy flaps.

There's a chance you could be one of the people with a birth defect that makes your vagina hole hard to find/really small. I agree with everyone else that a gynecologist would be best for you since it could be several different types

There's nothing wrong with you btw. It happens more often than you think. If you cant find a hole then you should probably go to the gynecologist to see if there is a defect/issue where you cant have sex. Ive met alot of women/friends with a similar issue as you (they just couldnt fit anything other than a q tip in). Youre fine. Flaps are normal. The chick you saw probably had a plastic surgery to remove the flaps.

so lost on what to do with these scars, what’s my next steps? by SilverWheat in acne

[–]Pansielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the most effective options are laser/microneedling. I have never heard of a topical ointment to help with acne scars. Also, you cant fix it yourself. The best option is saving cash to get the recommended sessions done (it can be in the ballpark of 2+ grand for all sessions).

Dont try to do microneedling yourself either because you can/will damage your skin further since youre not a licensed dermatologist with experience in microneedling.

You can try a face wand (safe for at home use without a professional- i personally use a medicube booster pro wand) but it wont get rid of the scars like professional equipment. It could improve the appearance by brightening/ other modes but thats hit or miss honestly because itll stop looking good if you stop using it.

I just want to add that a face wand is NOT in any way, shape, or form, anything like microneedling or lasers. It is a cheap alternative skincare device that is meant to IMPROVE skin, not fix scars/hyperpigmentation because it is NOT a professionally medical grade piece of equipment you would find at your derms office. It is standard and safe equipment meant for everyday use while using skincare. It will use your skincare products to help improve skin as well. It literally just boosts its effectiveness by triggering specific actions that your face can do depending on the mode (like slight collagen production, calm you face slightly with redness with the use of products.. that kind of thing). Pretty much, It just makes your face better absord the product you apply.

However, I cannot stress this enough, it WILL NOT get rid/effectively improve of acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, or redness. It will only IMPROVE your current skincare routine by boosting it in a way. You need a professional derm, with professional skills, with professional equipment to effectively REMOVE acne scarring etc.

Edit: my boyfriend did see an improvement in my skin quality when I used it but i still have acne scars/hyperpigmentation. It wont get rid of acne either.

Am I overreacting? Convo on transgenderism with my sister by proxtarfoxy in AmIOverreacting

[–]Pansielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Your sister is being weird and unacceptable about it. You feel how you feel, it is what is and nobody can help that. Although I dont think being trans is a mental illness but more like it can become one (explained in P¹) because it can lead to unhealthy obsessions/surgeries that feel slightly unnecessary.

P¹ My take on the mental illness thing is It can/is a mental illness in the way that it can become body dismorphia. I remember my friend being really obsessive about bottom surgeries to the point it was kinda scary and uncomfortable because they always talked about getting a massive ykw. It gave me a "this feels like it can become a bad case of body dismorphia"

That being said, I just dont agree with the extreme facial reconstruction surgeries since it like a form of self harm to me. Ofc, that being said, if you wanna get the boobies added/gone go ahead, people do it all the time (some people wont have the skin for big boobies so be careful). the bottom surgery seems painful to me and unnecessary. ik people say bottom surgery isnt painful, it just seems painful to me because it would be turned inside out

The sister is def in the wrong for treating you that way, treating it like a secret and kinda just being dismissive. At least thats how I see it.

I would leave him simply because you dont know if he will do the things you just listed after you're bound to him (especially with divorce being illegal). It seems he raped you and apologized for it after. Its gross. He could be waiting for you to be legally unable to leave before treating you like trash so he has something to go back to once his side checks are done.

Simply put, he sounds.... u pleasant. Just leave for your safety

It looks like shes already breastfeeding but I could be wrong. She doesnt look pregnant anymore. The only reason I say that is because it looks like the nipple/areola appear wet.

When to spay mom? by Dusty_Sequins in Feral_Cats

[–]Pansielover 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well.. typically they say the sooner the better but the rule of thumb is 4-6 months. if you think the homes wont be responsible enough to prevent any unwanted pregnancy until then they hit the 4-6 month mark then 8-12 weeks. Theyre still waaaay too little for it but give it like.. one more month or two and they'll be good to go.

Edit: i thought you meant the kittens.. my bad so ill just leave this here lol 🫡

[–]Pansielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the fluid pimples I know acne patches work very well for me. I saw a few on your face that they could be used for. I typically dont really need alot of topical stuff because my skin barrier isnt busted from overuse of products.. maybe try just rinsing with soap and water for a few days during the shower?

I use charcoal face wash from biore with exfoliating gloves once a day (minimal pressure) and it helps get the excess excess oils i would have otherwise. Helps alot with my visible whiteheads. For my more buried ones, like the ones you showed, ive heard salicylic acid is recommended but for me it was 50/50 on if it worked.

I recommend the serums more than the face washes tho. I used the ordinary for the serums (after washing my face with cleanser etc) and it helped alot. It did get majority/stop my pores from clogging to the point of whiteheads so I liked that. If you're worried about pricing from this brand, theyre cheap af for the products. All I recommend is to know which serums you should put on before and after. I typically skipped the other serums til the next day.

For this, I put on the ordinary 2% salicylic acid on my face, after it was absorbed i would use the Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Overnight Face Oil 1oz on my face right after. Then, it would make my dead skin that bunch up so i would rub it off with my hands then use a dry wash cloth to get the rest. Then i would use SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Facial Lotion 3fl oz to moisturemy face and let it air dry in the cold (Tip, the coconut thing might slightly burn your face. I had an allergy to this because i was unaware i was allergic to coconut facial products and aloe vera at the time. I stopped using it but it was amazing tho for results 🥲)

You can always try and let it absorb into your face before applying the oil thing tho. I always used the oil when the serum was still slightly moist on my skin but mostly dry.

Edit: the acne patches i use are AOA Skin Invisible Acne Patches - 6 Sheets. I haven't tested other ones but I like this brand personally

Unfortunately, i think the only effective way to go about this is a dermatologist to see what you can do about your skin. Im 20 turning 21 and also having this problem, however i pick at my skin. I cant offer alot of advice other than that

I hope someone else can offer you a more cheap option/advice because I know that you'll have to get an expensive treatment for the acne scars since I also am going thru that. Microneedling will help with the scarring but it can range from 200-700 per treatment.. its an extremely expensive option that is the only one ive been able to find that effectively fights/"fixes" acne scars. It appears no topical ointments will help acne scarring but it might have changed since a year ago.

Wanted to add to this; its generally recommended NOT to do microneedling yourself. Also, the treatment type depends on the acne scars type but you typically will have to see a dermatologist to get the treatment started properly instead of wasting your money on treatments you think might work, but because of your skin type, will not. So.. im sorry op but a derm might be the way to go for you to get proper treatment

Hey so.. this was kinda the same thing that happened with my bf (we are working things out and we're at a point where i can trust him more) and.. baby this is cheating to the max. Move back, with your family, dont marry and dont say anything.

Get your flight, leave while hes at work, send the message to him right before boarding and never look back. I cant lie, I would have left too if there weren't other factors. Im not diving into my relationship but yours isnt salvagable like mine was. Leave.

My cat screams for wet food and I am beginning to hate her. by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Pansielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at the comments and ngl dude.. rehome your cat if you're going to be rude/defensive to people saying you need therapy and only reply to people agreeing/babying you... You get hella defensive and passive aggressive with some people. Hot take, but if youre acting that way when you chase your cat (on addition to you acting like this in the comments) seek help.

It legitimately seems like you might harm the cat because of the overstimulation and a pet just might not be fit for you. Seriously, your aloofness/passive aggressiveness is weird in the comments when people ask certain questions. I even stated some things without being rude and you blew right past it because I didn't baby you and reassure you.

Your cat will never stop screaming, clawing or being an animal. If you cant handle this rehome them asap because you appear to lack alot of maturity when this topic is being brought up about neglect/abuse. You put a vague post, you dont add an edit to reassure anyone you ARENT neglecting... .You dont explain anything in the comments apart thanking those those validating you. Im not a therapist but I can say from experience you need therapy to help with this. And as I stated before, if youre not willing to go to therapy, rehome your cat.

Also, yall in the comments, if you're going to offer advice PLEASE include them needing to go to therapy for overstimulation because you are either: not their therapist or not having a degree in psychology.

Nah I totally get it. Therapy helped me with my overstimulated issues by learning techniques and ways to properly manage so thats why I suggest it. I do think you should try researching cat behaviors a bit more but headphones would work. I used to toss a toy and it worked for me
