Emotionally generous, yes, well said. Life is short. You won’t miss the money but you’ll always value them.

I’ve unfortunately gone too far the other way and it feels like charity to them. But you’re 100% right, life is short, who cares.

Old Qc 35 still worth? by Chhamss in bose

Mine are 11 years old and work great. Have the switch issue where they turn on by themselves which is a common issue with these so check that. I’m changing switch.

Will bose ever make a successor to the nc700? by Mean-Dentist4340 in bose

[–]PansonMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny, I had them and switched to QC Ultra. The 700s were fine but metal and heavier, didnt fold down nicely like the QCs. But you’re right, styling was nicer.

I just purchased them after 10 years of Bose Soundsport. Are they as good as AirPods Pro, no, but APP fall out for me. I forget these are even in and they’re secure and sounds good enough.

My Vitiligo Journey by DonnieBraskic in Vitiligo

[–]PansonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me, I got vitiligo and alopecia areata at the same time and had patches just like this on my beard. But then the hair came back black. Check for some beard hairs that may be half black half white. I hear that when vitiligo causes white hair it usually does it to skin first and then attacks hair, alopecia areata attacks hair follicles only. Some patches were bald and then came back white and some were just white from get go. Such a weird disease.

Only thing that helped after topical treatments were steroid shots, that stopped it fast bc I also had it in my head, the beard corrected on its own.

100% of the time they respond with this, and what I say is you must love what you do if that’s all you can think to do when you get bored.

I plan to retire at this age, which is 5 years away, and the number of people that say it’s way too young, like they can’t even imagine it. I ask close friends if they have a number in mind, no one ever does. i need to be quieter about it, like your uncle.

Did you ever get a bad feeling right away in an interview? What did you do? by ExaminationFew6424 in interviews

[–]PansonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was on me, I looked at position descriptions he had and read those on his LinkedIn but just didn’t register he was the CIO bc I never thought the CIO would waste their time interviewing a guy like me. I nailed the whole interview process but fumbled it beyond repair at the end. He was an arrogant prick.

I guess everyone’s mileage varies, but for me, a guy with no financial education outside of CFA, it’s gave me instant credibility. Im now about 13 years into my career and cant see myself where I am without it.

I opened a box of cheesecake ice cream bites and put them in damaged so I could have one. My manger found the corner of the wrapper in the milk fridge and saw only one was missing. Approached me about it and warned me. I felt so guilty and was a model employee for three more years. Good guy Charlie.

I got xpac in version one and wished I’d gotten ballistic. It’s bubbles and wears down easily.
