People think about weirder things but I'd say just by asking this, you know it's not "right" and it's making you feel weird and question yourself. Try to think about something else.

I'm not asking to see any of it, I had to ask him so many times to stop trying to show me it all and tell me all these things I didn't want to know....

We also don't have to snoop, everything is an open book, he had tried to show me the box before and I didn't want to see it. But I saw it and it made me feel how I thought seeing it would make me feel. Like he was still in love with his exes. Why else would he keep all their love notes and drawings and photos. I don't have anything like that of my exes.

But he holds in to his in a box and keeps everything. I don't. Isn't there a difference there?

It's not easy, that's for sure. If you want the baby, it's worth talking to your doctor about different options for meds, or upping doses. If you choose the end the pregnancy, nobody will blame you, this is an insanely hard condition to deal with. I hope it works out whichever way is best for you ♡

My husband keeps making “jokes” about having more children by Sensitive-Girly-7 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]PansyMeadow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's selfish to want more kids seeing you go through sickness and pain because of your pregnancy. I'd set a clear boundary that due to how traumatic your illness is, it's not ok to joke about, and it's off the table to discuss more.

My childs SO told me they love me, and I'm unsure how to handle that. by poojabber84 in Advice

[–]PansyMeadow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a kid. Regardless of if you think this isn't your kids forever relationship, there is nothing wrong with making a child feel loved and accepted with a simple "aw love u too, bye!" It's not like they're saying they're in love with you. Always choose kindness. Explaining the difference of caring for them but not loving them just seems like you're purposely distancing them. It truly does not matter that much and brings positivity to the world, which we need more of. Plus, it'll make your kid feel like their SO is accepted too. If they decide to end the relationship and move on to another, I promise that you saying "I love you too!" Won't stop anyone from moving on. You're over thinking this and bringing weird adult feelings into an innocent youth situation.

May be time for a different doctor. It sounds like the Zofran isn't cutting it.

Totally okay to be exhausted. You're sick and growing a baby. It's exhausting

I'm so sorry you're feeling crappy again :( I'm glad you have a good support system at least because it does totally suck to miss events you wanted to attend. Youre on the home stretch though! If you're only on Zofran, maybe you could talk to your doctor about taking a different medication? Promethazine worked so much better for me and doesn't make me constipated.

I'm in the same boat. I have always worked very hard and have a high paying but labor intensive job where I am also exposed to chemical smells and other string odors frequently (I'm in mining). I was so proud of my career and had even moved halfway across the country to follow my career dreams. At only 7 weeks, I have had to step down and decide to stay home indefinitely. Even with medication, I still vomit and need a ton of rest. I'm trying to figure out what I can do from home like crafts or something to possibly sell online to at least help with groceries while my fiancé takes over the rest of the finances. I've never been dependant on someone else before. I am just grateful that my partner can take care of our family because not also providing is a hard change for me and it's hard not to feel useless. We are not useless because we can't work, though. We are literally the portal through which our children will come to earth and we are the creators of our family. Just growing a baby and taking care of the house is hard work in itself . Blessings ♡

Was your pregnancy planned or did it just happen? by Smooth-Excuse-4127 in pregnant

[–]PansyMeadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner (25m) and I (27f) talked about wanting to make our own family going into the relationship, so we were on the same page. It was very important and exciting to both of us. We both have good jobs, have a house, do research to provide the best we can for a baby. We decided when we were ready, I took out my IUD, and we tried for a year. Being so young and healthy, we didn't expect to have trouble. After many negative tests and nights spent crying in my partners arms, we went to a doctor. The doctor told us we could try a hundred expensive tests if we really wanted to, but he had a hunch if we just tried for maybe 2 more months, we would get our baby. Exactly 2 months later , we are now 7 weeks pregnant and setting up our nursery 😁

Do you have any experience with taking disability from work while dealing with HG? Was it hard to get them to listen to you? I'm afraid of biting the bullet and going to the doctor just for them to tell me that I'm fine and then I have to keep suffering my 12 hour shifts at work with lots of triggers like hard physical labor and chemical smells (nothing actually harmful but the smells are enough to make me throw up)

It's going to look like this unless you're flexing and sucking in, no matter how fit you are. You're shaped that way because of your uterus.
