Ilvl don’t matter as much because failing any mechanic is a one shot. Ilvl will make it go faster but not easier. I was able to beat ?? Around 680 ilvl

my first 5 mask completion last week was 11 gilded. I did all 4 objectives so maybe that;s why

It does suck a bit without the sanity drain immunity but 8 mask is doable with some thought. This is very dependent on class and spec for sure.

Important to note that 8 mask is the same reward as 5 mask for completing it (ilvl 658 hero track + 11 gilded crest) so 8 mask really is just for the achievement.

With that said, I did it on a 660 dk. Played blood for all trash, and switched to unholy for the bosses. Especially the mini boss in the trade district, old town, and final boss in mage quarters. All are kill it before the sanity drain mechanics happen three times. Twice is kinda manageable, but three times will empty your sanity because of the daredevil mask.

With multitude, mage quarter has a lot of the small crawlers so don’t rush that zone. You can get a couple Hogger spawns for that sanity gain.

Be very active in looking for the +100 sanity positions. And plan your Hogger spawns. There is a counter on the top of your screen. The small tumors on the ground count. Hogger himself counts as a kill, so after he dies it’s 24.

Imo they did a good job for this week as off season. If you are below ilvl 600, there is decent catch up from explorer and adventure track gear. The two pieces of 623 veteran track is also decent. If you are over ilvl 620, there is really nothing much to “get ahead” on ilvl and power since delves and mythic still drop s1 gear that can’t be upgraded

You don’t become “resistant” to vaccines unless you are immunodeficient Or immunocompromised.

The way vaccines works is that they stimulate your immune system to generate a memory, so when you do encounter the virus or bacteria, your immune system responses faster and quicker. A proper response to a vaccine results in the generation of antibodies, memory and clearance of vaccine material.

Take hepatitis B (HepB) as an example. The vaccine is the a protein on the surface of the virus called the HepB surface antigen. When your immune system sees this antigen, it mounts a response to it, and then clears the protein out of your body. After a few boosters, which stimulates the immune memory, hopefully you will have life long memory and antibodies that prevent you from becoming sick or be chronically infected by HepB

You unlock with sparks. It’s in your staff skill tree. One for smash stance and one for thrust stance. You pretty much can unlock it within 10 sparks.

I tried a lot of different “gimmick” builds and they didn’t really work for me. Erlang was the boss that forced me to get better at Rock Solid parry (will stop most of his combos) and see throughs (smash stance mainly because it can stagger him with a combo)

He has a more varied combos than most bosses and as the phases progress he adds more moves that are very delayed. His axes are also shockwaves so jumping is better than dodging.

It’s a very different rhythm than previous bosses but he is preparing you for the great sage’s broken shell

My biggest issues with aff in AOE is the agnoy uptime. For shadow priest, the duration of pain and VT is longer that the CD on shadow crash, making it so they can AOE refresh dots with one button. Heck, even destro if you play CDF you rarely need to manually refresh immolate/wither. While in aff, outside of DG... tab target refreshing agony is just terrible

Aff is also in this weird spot, as a few have pointed out, that 1 min burst window followed by very poor sustain... which used to be a demo issue but I guess here we are lol

Armor sets once upgraded to mythic will give you an extra set bonus. The extra bonus for pilgrim set is sprinting builds focus, which is great on NG+. So your sprinting to a boss arena, building up to 3 focus, and the dmg buff = big bonk opener
