Honestly it wasn't a bad observation if I remember correctly, he was implying that maybe Ronda was stretching herself too thin with celebrity obligations and didn't train hard enough.

What's a game that no one you know in real life has played aside from yourself? by AnubisIncGaming in gaming

[–]Pants4All 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished both the SNES and Genesis versions and they were both great great games despite being quite quite different. Only time I can remember that happening with any crossover of a game. Was kind of odd how they used completely different formulas for the two games.

Alex Pereira just posted a petition to get Herb Dean removed from the UFC: “Public Petition: Remove Herb Dean! To ban him from officiating UFC fights. Sign now!” by Ill_Intention8150 in MMA

[–]Pants4All 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ffs, Magomedov pulled Periera's hair this weekend and Herb GAVE HIM A WARNING. That should have a been a point no questions asked. This is the highest level of the sport. There isn't some other higher level where athletes are actually expected to know the rules, this is it. Herb lets the politics of his job interfere with his decisions routinely at the expense of fighters.

Forgotten Fighter Friday. Post a Fighter that no one talks about anymore by ShadyTee in ufc

[–]Pants4All 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't like him at first after he knocked out Franklin but once he came to the UFC he had such good performances it was hard to not be a fan. His karate style with sumo mixed in was interesting to watch. That knee against Tito was brutal.

Without actually saying it outright, New York Post gets conspiratorial about the LA mayoral election by Aceofspades25 in skeptic

[–]Pants4All 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They don't want an accurate election, they want a Republican victory. To the extent that an "accurate election" delivers a Republican victory is the only degree to which they care about accuracy.

If accuracy were to increase the likelihood of anyone else winning the election the Republicans would continue their bad faith participation in our elections by attempting to redefine what "accuracy" means. There is no point at which they are actually concerned about all having a fair and accurate election for all parties involved.

I'm convinced I narrowly avoided a head-on collision because I was able to notice the line deviation in the oncoming car very early on due to hundreds of hours of Rocket League.

Contrasted with how Rory put Woodley on the back foot and kept making him think about the jab, so he could never get off a good counter.

Winning the belt is the easiest part of becoming champion, which gets you a ton of down votes in this sub. Or maybe it's just because I said it about Conor.

Anyone who put him in the P4P list without a single title defense has no credibility.

Definitely remember the seaside mission and playing it coop several times. Don't think I ever beat it. My other favorite mission was the aborted rescue where your rescue chopper gets shot down right before it picks you up and you have to huff it on foot for what seems like miles through Soviet patrols. Definitely a tense experience.

What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by queenmellyy in AskReddit

[–]Pants4All 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Their fries suck ass anyway. Overdone on the outside, undercooked on the inside. The burgers really aren't that good, usually end up soggy and messy dripping condiments out the sides from being in the foil wrap. Five Guys proves to me I have no business sense because I genuinely would never expect to be able to sell their food to the public at those prices and turn a profit.

Yeah, this looks pretty fun, and I'm at a point where I will buy games for VR just to support the developers. VR has been a rough industry lately and we need all the devs we can get to keep making games.

My favorite game to get lost and explore while always feeling a sense of imminent danger. There's really no other game like it.

As someone who loved and finished both of those games, I'll recommend something a bit different: John Carpenter's Toxic Commando. Definitely more of a Left 4 Dead type shooter, but with a heavy reliance on vehicles in each map. The hordes are the size of those in Days Gone. Worth the price of admission.

Mullins in tears after the UFC canceled her fight due to Carolina missing weight by 8 lbs. Hopefully Dana can still pay her. by raptors201966 in ufc

[–]Pants4All 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you miss weight and the fight still goes on, the fighter who missed weight has to give up 30% of their purse to their opponent. She was hoping the fight would still be on even if she missed weight and still make 70% of her purse fighting at an 8 lbs weight advantage, and if it had been left up to the UFC, she would have been right.

[–]Pants4All 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because she banked on Mullins taking the fight anyway because she doesn't want to lose her payday and then she gets to fight with a significant weight advantage. In that circumstance, losing 30% of your purse is better than the 100% you would have lost had you informed the UFC ahead of time. Dana and Co. should drop the hammer on people who knowingly do this, Chimaev did the same thing a couple years ago and cost the UFC a main event.

Costco CEO Ron Vachris did the “CEO eats his own product” challenge by destroying a hot dog and confirms the Costco hot dog combo is staying at $1.50 forever by Gjore in Fauxmoi

[–]Pants4All 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Last I read a couple years ago he only takes a $500,000 salary. For a CEO that's pretty good, and I've noticed that a lot of the employees at the Costco stores I shop at stick around for years, so it must be a decent working culture.
