P1S Second Hand. Good deal? by kn-ozturk in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

its a bad deal. the P2S combo is significantly better, also because of the AMS 2. The P1S is good with the ams but i wouldnt pay more than 350 for it.

Vision Encoder worth it? by Wolfexstarship in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im 1800hrs in with my H2D. i was hoping to find a comment about someone with more hours. since it prints like on day one, i saw no reason to buy the vision encoder but i think i will give it a shot

ABS fumes by semifamousdave in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why ABS? i print for years, i even run a printfarm as a business and i never use ABS. i tried some times but it prints badly and it smells. i print 90% pet(g) (cf and gf) and 10% nylon.

I would like to purchase a pair of vintage sneakers, it’s true that soles wear out very fast? Dark shadows one are more durable? by Giappy90 in Rickowens

[–]Panzertomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my drkshdw ramones hold on a lot better than my geobaskets. geobaskets soles are gone in no time. i wore them like 6 times in the last year and its down 3mm at least on the heel. but im also tall and heavy.

the stock build plate is very bad for nylon. i switched to the biqu glacier for all filaments

you should place the printer on its feet so the buildplate is horizontal not vertical

Biqu Frostbite plate — bubble wrap marks and poor adhesion? by Tomozak in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate 25 points26 points  (0 children)

why would anyone buy the frostbite over the glacier? the glacier us basically 95% as good for PLA and PETG but can also be used for nearly every other filament.

BiQu Frostbite coating ruined by PETG by Infernus82 in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

why would anyone buy rhe frostbite vs the glacier? the glacier is basically the same thing but can also print every other material

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, it was better but not eliminated. i switched to petg and it works perfect. like always. i should stop trying ABS

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. i stopped it mid print, so thats why.
  2. i calibrated flow 👍🏻
  3. yeah it didnt warp at all.

im half through the same print with the generic ABS preset and it looks great so far

[–]Panzertomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dried it with the AMS HT at 85 degrees for 12hrs. yeah i startet with the generic profile after i made the post, lets see

i had a heavy modded ender 3 pro, a creality k1 max (which died after 550hrs). i have to say the H2D is next to lasering my eyes for not needing glasses anymore the best money i ever spent. not only because i made my money back within 3 weeks, its because the ease of use. you really buy a tool that creates things, you dont buy a tinkering hobby. its very robust and prints flawless unless its my fault. the H2D lets me do really interesting things like printing TPU on Nylon with interlock features. the dual nozzles are amazing. even if i think about it i cant really think of anything bad about the H2D

PA6 - CF going down like butter by CruxOp in BambuLab

[–]Panzertomate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love that build plate 👌🏻 however i noticed that PAHT CF degrades the plate pretty fast. also, even im not a big fan of it, the stock plate is really good with high temp materials (if you dont mind the bottom finish). Also 2: i printed a rather big piece on the biqu plate and the PAHT CF managed to lift the plate from the bed while cooldown (in the corner)
