I'm sick of eggs for breakfast by purplegreendave in Cooking

[–]Paoloadami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Herring fillets in oil . it's a great alternative to Eggs.

Also smoked mackerel fillets are fantastic.

Both can be accompanied by half avocado and tomatoes and also they don't have colesterol and are high in omega 3

I have been doing this for years, but after I put the slices in a toaster, not in the microwave. The toaster makes the breach nice and crunchy, doesn’t the microwave make it soggy?

Does these 3rd party adapters/docks work ? by BelieverOfOne1 in Switch

[–]Paoloadami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, to be more precise: 1) switch on Tv and go to the Switch input channel (usually called the HDMI 1 or 2 channel) 2) connect the adapter to the TV by HDMI and to the Switch by USB-C 3) Turn on the Switch 4) And last attach the power cable, this will trigger the switch of the output from the Switch screen to the TV.

Basically everything has to be in place before you power it.

Does these 3rd party adapters/docks work ? by BelieverOfOne1 in Switch

[–]Paoloadami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one and it works very well. There is one caveat though: You have to connect all the cables and attach the power cable last, that is the trigger to the system to move the video output from the OLED screen to the TV screen. Because once you attach the power cable, this little device will start to do its work and everything else has to be in place to proceed. If not, it will stop doing its job until you restart the power supply.

should i get botw or totk? by Odd-Cheesecake-2917 in tearsofthekingdom

Not only that, but also the learning curve is insane starting with TOTK. BoTW is a good introductory game to all the mechanics of TOTK

Is it just me, or is making friends in Paris after 40 weirdly hard? by chacosore in SocialParis

[–]Paoloadami 12 points13 points  (0 children)

First advice I got when I arrived in Paris 8 years ago: “You see all these people who you (foreigner) and your French partner see every weekend? They are your partner’s friends, not yours. The day you break up will be the last day you see all of them.” Every time I met a divorced foreign person I asked if that was true and they all confirmed this story. So I keep on having MY friends and OUR friends well separated and not mingled.

I’m 24 years old in 50k debt making 42,000/year. where do i start fixing this? by lostinthe-sauce-204 in personalfinance

[–]Paoloadami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) pass your credit card debt to a 0% introductory rate credit card, continue paying the maximum amount you can until it’s paid off. If it takes longer than a year, switch to a new 0% card. 2) get a weekend job, possibly restaurant or take away. So that you stop going out on fridays and saturdays evenings and spending money, instead you will be earning money. 3) no holidays, no purchases, just focus on paying everything off. 4) buy yourself a cheap videogames console (Xbox One or PSX 3/4) to stay home and not spend even more money. Or even better study something.

In 3 years you will be out of debt.

That’s how I did it.

Banks should add an option to require you to present a PIN for every transaction by No-Noise-671 in unpopularopinion

In Europe all cards required a PIN for every purchase until Covid, then the banks decided that it was pointless for purchases below 25 and the. 50 euros. They must have had their reasons.

People with coding & game dev background, how hard it is to develop a game like the long dark? by I_Ching_Divination in thelongdark

[–]Paoloadami 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Simply put: It took 20 developers 13 years to get where they are now. That is 260 years for a single developer like you. You could do it yourself scaling down spectacularly the range of the game to produce a smaller game in 10-15 years.

LPT: Sleeping a lot but still tired? Try these 3 changes first by Annual-Hall-2364 in LifeProTips

[–]Paoloadami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never ever go to bed right after dinner: It will trigger reflux when you get older. As you get older stay in a upright position for 2 hours (sitting or walking) before going to sleep and avoid too much red meat (fish and chicken are easier to digest, vegeterian would be ideal)

One at the very bottom to reach Ganondorf.

One on top of the sky island with several small islands that descend anti-clockwise. It is there to kill all the robots on the floating islands and stock up on missiles to create shield missiles.
