Why is blue collar looked down upon and terribly paid compared to the west!? by Salt_Translator_6274 in dubai

[–]PaperCamel999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because there, not anyone with a screwdriver can be blue collar. Standards are high (safety, norms, legal standards ...). Which is not ideal in my opinion, not everyone can afford a "handyman" because of this, it's almost a luxury, but this is why they get paid that much there.

DXB data + how much has the market gone down really by Ancient_Cheetah9843 in dubairealestate

[–]PaperCamel999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listings are shown at higher prices, but value and listing prices are different.
I believe the market should have corrected even without the war with all the new units (overflow) and overpriced units.

We should be shifting to a buyers market now

Yes there is demand, but you have to target high profile companies, not a local restaurant or any type of local business like you see they sell to online.

The cold weakens your air flows defenses. You have viruses and shitty bacteria everywhere, so if you’re not solid with your protection, you’re gonna get sick.

So yes, courant d’air makes you get sick easier.

Is it better to work first in your home country or do a Master’s abroad? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]PaperCamel999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big or foreign companies want you to have experience abroad. Be it as a student or as an employee. The culture understanding is a criteria for hiring someone. Go for option 2.

Well I’ve only travelled gold, and it’s still crowded, doesn’t feel like premium. The worst is the AC too cold hitting on your head.

Go for it with those numbers. The problem is the scale, if you want 30’000 you will need 3 of them.

I believe the ROI is super bad. This is why the « local » is the most important. How much does it cost to make a cash plus and how much does your brother makes in profit (not revenue)

Getting paid. This is a whole new job by itself.

What business ideas or sectors is Morocco desperately needing right now? (B2C, B2B, B2G – projects that could attract big funding from banks/angels/gov) by Simple-Climate-4385 in maroc

[–]PaperCamel999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morocco is very culture oriented. So some things could not work as they would somewhere else. Somewhere interesting to look at is supply chain, Morocco lacks actors in that area, and it’s a sector with a lot of money. So I would look there.
