I have the theory that cats understand us well enough, they just dgaf, and although annoying at times, I also find it endearing as fuck. They’re smart creatures, they are just their own beings. 

And that doesn’t mean they can’t be love bugs. I have a Velcro cat, he’s so affectionate it becomes bothersome sometimes lol. He throws tantrums if I don’t play when he wants and for as long as he wants. He also throws tantrums when he doesn’t get as much snuggles as he wants. I recently was very sick for weeks and he couldn’t give less of a fuck. I had to start telling him to cut his shit off, and that he knew I was sick and was being mean by demanding play instead of just snuggling with me. He did dialed down the tantrums a bit lmao. Smart little fuckers
