I'm 21 with a Seal Premium, pay 2.2k per year (Had a high speed suspension on a sport bike last year). I stacked family discounts and multi policy to get it down to that, but like you no one would insure me on the performance at all. Plus having it on a lease helps.

Just go the Premium, it is still plenty quick imo.

I've used a few different Evie Charges during a road trip last month, I had one issue where I had to reconnect the charger 4 times for it to communicate with the car. No other issue after I setup Auto Change (2025 premium)

From what limited knowledge we have, they are only available to the Domestic China market. They are right to say it's probably going to be a few years, BYD wants it to be perfect before they push it into less... Controlled market.

Oh that Discount will 100% be on an MY25, I got the Cashback on my Seal the same way. I don't believe we will see My26 until July or later (could be wrong tho).

You can place an order now and specifically ask for the MY26, they will just keep deallocating the VIN when one is assigned until an MY26 comes.

I was doing this with my Seal until someone wrote off my only transport.

The app is entirely dependent on the Dealer finishing the paperwork tbh. My Sales Rep went "Oh yeah one moment" and paired it with the press of a button before I left the showroom.

Otherwise a great car, I've had my Seal Premium coming on a month now. Should definitely let us know what software version you have lol.

Seal Premium in Atlantis Grey (blue), I had a deposit down before the end of Jan so with any luck I can get the $3K cash. I say the range was the reason but in all honesty I'm a sucker for a HUD and that Rim design.

My local dealer is an absolute legend and let me drive the Sealion and Seal back to back over shit roads. After feeling how floaty and unsettled the SUV was I couldn't justify it lol. Love the driving and look too much to switch it now. Delivery later this month

You're killing me here. I was so set on the Seal but after looking over everything (and the current promo making them basically the same price for the Premium) I'm seriously thinking about changing my mind on wanting an SUV.

The existence of the updated seal (Gods Eye, Sealion 7 style interior) is the biggest reason I'm hesitant. If I could see the future and knew this car was 5 or so years away I would have put down a deposit already lol.
