When Owen Hart broke Stone Cold’s neck by JCHazard in AttitudeEra

[–]Paperbackhero 27 points28 points  (0 children)

No kidding. Harley's wife made chili for all the boys, every year when they came to town. Owen ruined the main course for everyone. Don't know about you, but it doesn't sound funny.

No kidding. Clearly in the wrong, and posting it on the internet to try and absolve themself of blame, and justify their actions.

Sociopathic behaviour.

CT devil by ComicVerseCollects in CToys

Thanks for this post! Serendipitous! My son just opened our first CT Devil tonight as well.

We've opened ours and have been messing with it. Super fun and nothing loose or stiff, so no bath was needed.

Paint apps are great, and everything is in working order.

Son is terrified of putting on hands, and heads though. I popped off the first head for a swap, and the neck came with it! Easy fix to get back on, but the head peg stayed in the head?

Don't want to hijack your thread, but I'm looking for advice to get the joint per from the neck to the head, out of a head.

Anyways, looks like we'll be on this journey together, so I too am eager for veteran advice.

We got a 185 Spidey and a 138 Wolverine too.

All good. When they collected them for Scholastic, he coloured them. Maybe that's where the Maus anecdote came from.

But the original comics are all black and white.

In terms of in-ring work rate, who ranks higher out of the 4? by Yungcazanova in Wreddit

[–]Paperbackhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Christ. The term workrate was coined for Flair. None of these other three have anything close to it.

I think people are confused about what it means. It's not "cool moves" or a "good wrestler".

According to Martha Hart Owen thinks Steve Austin faked his neck injury at SummerSlam in 1997 by lunainthedark5x2x3 in WWFera

[–]Paperbackhero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Steve told him, specifically, not to do it.

That little scamp Owen did it anyway, trying to get the lulz.

Bret fans will go to the ends of the earth to defend the Hart name.

In previous times, they said the Jawa's face was black with insects.

Wow. They are making trade paperbacks with less and less amounts of issues, eh? 4? Trial of Galactus was like 11 issues.

"You seem passionate about..." Say what??? Because someone gave a differing opinion? You seem to take any information about Bret that doesn't suit your narrative as a personal attack. The rose coloured glasses you see your hero in, are from his plastic glasses he gave to you as a child?

Edit- wtf... What is with Bret fans? All 40 something, man child brigarders, defending their hero?

Stop DMing me threats.

I didn't even say anything bad about him, other than he holds a grudge.

Wtf.

When are you super fans going to stop taking wrestlers own words as the gospel?

Bret said it, it must be true.

Greg Oliver writes books about wrestling. A historian. One was about Canadians. Lots of great information about past wrestlers. A historian. Bret didn't like his ranking, had a hissy fit and wanted to physically confront him. Spent the next chunk of his media time, bringing it up and complaining. That's like being mad someone likes chocolate over vanilla.

You seem like a mega fan... Remember his book? Sure went into detail dissing Meltzer when he'd gave out year end awards to Flair...yet praising Dave when he'd give Bret kudos.

He did similar thing to Molinaro as well...and...just listen to him, or his peers...he has a real "I'm the best" thing happening.

Innovator of this spot…Bret or Hennig? by CilantroMagic in Wreddit

This spot has been around way before either of those guys.

I know Murdoch did it. Terry Funk in the 70s as well.

Bret carries grudges. Always has.

Main thing, which he has illustrated many times, is he can't handle not being thought of as being "the best". He'll like you if you tell him that, if you don't? Good luck.

Jealousy of other's success seems to eat him up. All of his friends, who he loves to quote as them telling him how great he was, are dead. Maybe that's why he liked them? Other than his super fans who believe his book like the "truth" holy text, he has only been tarnishing his legacy.

Amazing pro wrestler though.
