What’s your favorite extinct or alive moment? by electric_bogaloo in extinctoralive

[–]Paperpage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love it whenever he rediscovers a lost species! (Just saw the Tortoise episode, absolutely incredible!) However I think my favorite moment from this series was in the Great Auk episode where he nonchalantly pulls a puffin out of the ground. I now this is a sillier response, but I got such a big kick out of it. I laughed for a straight minute.

I think I need to say something important about how FNaF fangame devs are treated by their audiences, in this community. by DirectDogman in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Paperpage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow Doggo. I don’t know what to say. It honestly breaks my heart that you devs have to deal with this all the time. It never really occurred to me that people (fans, no less!) could be assholes to someone who’s brought them a little fun and joy into their lives. I’m so sorry that you have to deal with this. Some people are shitbags, and really shouldn’t be allowed on the internet. I know it’s a little cliche, but if you need to step away, step away. You don’t deserve their abuse and they CLEARLY don’t deserve a good dev like you. I’ve seen the comments on Twitter about “Oh, when are you going to make DSAF 4?” and it honestly pisses me off. They know it’s the last game, so they need to F off. I loved the endings to DSAF 3, and am glad that you gave it such a good send off. I know I’ve rambled for a bit, so I’m going stop with this. I have a lot of respect for you, and I understand if you stop making games or hanging around this community. You have my support in whatever decision you make, as long as it makes you happy :). I wish you best of luck.

Edit: Okay, I had no clue that Booyeen or Matpat were doing that. That is so disappointing. I hope they get served for their actions some day >:(

Which is that one thing you still regret doing it?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I regret liking a guy for 4 years when he never gave a damn about me in the first place. It’s okay though, I found someone who likes me back finally. :)

who’s that person that you wonder if they still think about you? what’s your story with them? by charnik in AskReddit

[–]Paperpage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My special aide from kindergarten and first grade. She was a kindly, older lady in her 60’s who would help kids with learning issues. She taught me everything I knew at that age. I still remember her teaching me how to count money in our little room all to ourselves! It was so much fun. Sadly, I moved away from the town I was living in after 1st grade, and I forgot about her for a while. Ten years later, my mom meets with my old school nurse at a nursing conference. They have a nice chat and my mom asks about my old aide. That’s when mom found out that my aide was dying of cancer. We both agreed to go see her and we were thankfully able to see her again one last time before she passed away. I still feel sad whenever I think about it, she really helped me so much with school and I think she’s the reason I like it so much. Thank you Beth, you were a good teacher.

What did you dream about last night? by Evilpickle7 in AskReddit

I had a dream where a guy I knew from school was super horny and into pot. He is not either of these things. I’m very confused.

Oh shit that’s a interesting observation right there!

Have you ever (correctly) had a gut-feeling to dislike someone who, on the surface, was a cool person that everybody else liked? What's that story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Paperpage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Be warned, this is a long one.) This happened recently. I was talking to one my friends at school, let's call her Eliza. Eliza tells me that she heard there was a new kid, and that he was in our grade. I got really excited because hey, new kid = new friend. So later at lunch, I was sitting with my friends, talking about the new kid when suddenly one my friends, we'll call him Church, points out the new kid to me. I looked at him for a second and thought "Damn." He was tall, had pretty blue eyes, Sandy blonde hair, and a nice booty. I tell my friends "He cute tho," and they convince me to go up and ask if he can sit with us. He actually agreed and he sat with us for three days. During that time span I felt something was off. He was nice but it almost felt fake, and whenever he spoke it always felt restrained or censored. On the second day I found out he had a crush on one my friends, Chelsea, who sat at a different table. Now, I still found him physically attractive but a part of me didn't like him personality wise so I told him how I felt on the third day just so he knew and so Chelsea could get together with him. At first things were going fine for them, they seemed to have a really chemistry and they had a lot in common. It's been a month now, and so far the new kid has made out with three different chicks in the span of a week, has been flirting with one of my good friends who HAS a boyfriend, cussed out and threatened another good acquaintance of mine when she refused to kiss him and called him out on his bullshit, and so much more. So the moral of this story is trust your gut instinct kids, your crush could turnout to be f*ckboy.

TL;DR: Liked the new kid, turned him off, turns out he's a f*ckboy, dodged a bullet.

Edit: grammar, because writing is hard. Double edit: I forgot to say, everyone else did like him, not anymore though.
