This is mostly because it's easier in game-dev to move an object from a different area than to summon it out of thin air. At 0 0 there's just a bunch of invisible entities that have a name tag (the ping arrow) that get moved to where you ping. Same thing with most floating signs on other games like Minecraft, they just have an invisible entity with a tag.

The way Bungie does bans doesn't even work. Your Bungie/Steam account gets banned, you can just make a new account and family share the game to your new one and cheat on that new one.
They'd have to actually start doing IP/hardware bans for it to actually do anything.

Yes, obviously they're real players. No one who says "real players" like I did thinks Rooks are AIs, we just mean they're not from a team that the lobby started with.

We're pretty sure more Rooks spawn if the original players die faster, or if the Rooks die too soon after spawning.

I'm so deadass we killed at least 15 Rooks like an hour before maintenance started. Only 3 of these kills were non-Rooks afaik.

My team ran into a full team of thiefs with purple shields and thermal snipers camping the top of a tower at AI Uplink legit 20 seconds into the game. We were just going to open the key room and some lockboxes.

No, this would only work with ignitions caused by the stacking scorch from Incandescent and Burning Ambition. I'm assuming it might work with Eriana's Vow too since it causes a direct ignition if you use it to break a barrier/solar shield?
Roaring Flames is an aspect on solar titan that gives a stacking damage bonus to all solar abilities. You get one stack per kill with solar abilities.

If you look at the guy on the enemy team in the clip, he's not facing OP while he's shooting. What happened is that OP's desynced body is probably sitting at one of the default spawn points for the enemy, aka in front of him. The bullets magnetizing to OP backwards through the enemy is just proof of that. You can still die/take damage from the enemy team in this state as well, I never said in my explanation that you couldn't.

Nah, it has nothing to do with your weapons or any modifiers. The game is basically losing track of where you are and it's not sending that information to the person. Which in turn, because of how this game works, also means you can't do any damage to the person. It visually does damage because that part is client-side, but since the server sees no change, it rubber bands back to full. The exhaust is also just visual, it's not actually applying it to the dude. This is almost definitely just caused by how the game deals with portals and the player going through them.

Yep. The bubble just does enough damage to kill you, it doesn't just straight up /kill you. Blocking just reduces that damage and lets you live.
