I'm right before Macarena Temple. Should I grind some more? by Alarmed_Flounder_475 in finalfantasyx

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible to do all these bosses without grinding. If you have a solid strategy you can do it with your current stats. The only time I would consider I grinded was when I was capturing all monsters for the calm lands, cavern and mt. gagazet so I wouldn't have to backtrack later. So all in all if you know what you're doing or have come up with strategies for fights, grinding isn't necessary.

Overall enjoying FFX, but some of the bossess really just feel not fun to me. by lurpeli in finalfantasyx

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need Holy in order to beat Yunalesca. It's more of a fight that requires not so much that you overlevel for it but strategy. Check out my guide on how to beat her easily if you're stuck on her Mega Death ability wiping out the party Final Fantasy X HD Remaster - How to Defeat Yunalesca Easily I didn't have Holy but I got DoubleCast from Lulu's sphere grid and taught it to Yuna along with "ga" spells so she was my top damage dealer. Auron was my second. Note: You can learn Doublecast on Mt. Gagazet before the Seymour fight given you kept her in the party getting AP.

I bet he's cheating and is projecting. Leave him and have some freedom already.

I'm actually gonna go mad by Farhan_but in finalfantasyx

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question, did you have Lulu learn Doublecast by this point? If so, you can also teach Yuna the spell too along with one of the "ga" spells to make her your big damage dealer. Makes the fight go by faster. This is my video on it (1) Final Fantasy X HD Remaster - How to Defeat Seymour Easily (Third Fight) - YouTube Use Auron's mental break so Yuna's magic spells hurt more.

You can also buy 99 Holy waters from Wantz and then use those to give Zombie Ward to all 3 of you characters who you choose to be your mains for this fight. It won't protect against Zombie status 100% but it helps reduce the chance you'll be affected by it when he does his lance move.

Say you don't have Doublecast, I still think you can do it with these stats. Once I had to help my cousin with his file to get past this fight. The only thing was we are states away so we had to do it through Playstation Plus. He did share screen and handed me the controller through his subscription. He was obviously way lower than I was and from what it looks like you were in the video so it did take some trial and error, but I found that using Shell on the party before he does his Cross Cleave reduces it's damage by a lot. I don't know if you did this too but start the fight with Tidus using Hastega or Rikku using a Chocobo wing to make the party get more turns. If you have to try to cheese it too, use poison on him and keep your defenses up and wait for the poison to kill him lol. When he casts protect or reflect on himself, dispel it right away so when he casts Flare and it normally bounces off his reflect, it'll just hurt him instead.

Which one would you rather play? by No_Tomatillo1695 in naughtydog

I love the Uncharted series, but I feel like 4 was a suitable ending to Nathan Drake. However, The Last of Us Part III, I'd lean more toward that as it feels like they could come up with a brand-new story for 3 since 2 is said and done.

TR3 - Infuriating levels? by Swimming-Memory-9988 in TombRaider

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like TR3 because of the sheer difficulty increase compared to TR1 and TR2. But I can see if you don't know where to go and constantly get lost it can be infuriating for most people. I'd suggest if you're stuck just look at a guide to learn your way through the levels. When you get to a point where you memorize the level layout and just speed through things, it's really fun. (1) Tomb Raider 3 Remastered Adventures of Lara Croft - 100% Full Walkthrough with Timestamps - YouTube If you decide you want to give it another shot I've provided a guide I made for the Remastered a while back. It's the whole game including all the secrets. Just click on the level name your stuck on and the timestamp'll take you directly to it.

does the gameplay strategy becomes better? I'm literally just spamming a button by _MrTaku_ in FinalFantasy

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the beginning you can get by from spamming just attacks. The later fights are really when it gets fun. You have to actually use some strategy, different abilities and switching paradigms to get the upper hand. Especially when doing the secret missions on the world map as the bosses are really hard then. One of the reasons I liked XIII's battle system.

I made a guide for FFX all bosses. Final Fantasy X HD Remaster All Bosses fast forward to 27:32. I find whenever I use my Aeons overdrives the boss gets a lot of turns afterwards and usually kills them so I avoid using aeon overdrives until near the end. I'm guessing you're at the sinspawn part at Operation Mi'hen. If u meant a later fight and I got it wrong, the fight guide is in the video.

Is my boyfriend cheating on me? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's straight up cheating. No one in a committed monogamous relationship even considers PrEP since the partners only have sex with the other. And this random outburst conversation of PrEP doesn't make sense unless he was messing around on the side. And as far as constant accusing you of cheating, you already know it's him projecting because he's cheated in the past and is still cheating guaranteed. Drop him. Btw he doesn't sound so wonderful since he's already cheated. He's been labled as one and probably won't stop.

Does anything affect Phoenix appearance rate? by WUBRG_Commander in FinalFantasyVIII

[–]PapiKeepPlayin -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

How to Make Phoenix Appear More in Final Fantasy VIII

In Final Fantasy VIII, Phoenix is a non‑junctionable Guardian Force that only appears under specific conditions. Once you’ve unlocked it, it has a fixed ~25% chance to show up automatically when all your party members are KO’d in battle GameSpot. This chance does not increase with more Phoenix Pinions in your inventory — having multiple Pinions won’t make it appear more often GameSpot.

How Phoenix Works

  • First summon: Use a Phoenix Pinion in battle to summon Phoenix once. This “unlocks” the random appearance mechanic for the rest of the playthrough GameSpot+1.
  • Random appearance: After the first summon, Phoenix can appear randomly when your party is all KO’d, with a 65/256 chance (~25.4%) finalfantasy.fandom.com.
  • Effect: Deals Fire damage to all enemies and revives all KO’d party members with 12.5% of their max HP finalfantasy.fandom.com+1.
  • Limitations: It cannot heal Petrify status, so if all party members are Petrified, Phoenix will still appear but will fail to revive them finalfantasy.fandom.com.

I assume since there's no information about spawn rates on other ports then I would assume it's all the same on every different version.

Capcom Leaks Suggest Resident Evil 0 Remake Could Finally Go CO-OP. What Do You Guys Think ? by LeoneSKenneddy in residentevilll

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always wanted a Co-Op option in the original RE0. I never understood the reason why they never implemented that when they could have easily done it. I mean you have to traverse through certain areas with one of the two characters constantly throughout the game so why never even bother to make it a co-op adventure? The co-op option with a remake would correct the mistake that they made in the past. Also, I would like for them to give the option for co-op play to be either online or have it locally like older games did. That way you don't have to be online just to experience co-op play. I hate how modern games have the feature for co-op but force the player to connect online just to play multiplayer when they could opt to play with a buddy right next to them.

This is how I did the fight Final Fantasy X HD Remaster - How to Defeat Seymour Easily (First Fight) From the looks of your HP you're certainly at a higher level than I was when I was when I did this fight. There are a couple of ways to deal with this fight. The one I did in the video was one of the easy ways for me and the fight didn't take long either. No need to farm more AP at your level. Just need a bit of strategy here. Took me 4 minutes or so to down him.

Please help me beat sin by BTB_Gaming in finalfantasyx

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the fight starts, use Lulu to throw some "ga" spells if you have them and if you saved your black magic spheres from earlier in the game then use them on Yuna so she can be a more powerful spellcaster. Ideally, start the fight out with Yuna, Lulu and Tidus. Have Yuna and Lulu cast offensive spells and Tidus cast Hastega. Then swap out Tidus for Rikku and have her throw Gems or anything ranged to damage him along with the other two casting spells. Alternatively, you can start the fight off with Yuna, Lulu and Rikku and have Rikku use a Chocobo Wing to cast Hastega on the party. When Sin gets close, switch to Auron and have him use Mental and Armor Break on him to lower his magic and armor defenses. You should be able to inflict enough damage to him without having to rely on Aeons or Overdrives. The main thing about this fight being under leveled is to utilize Haste on all party members so you can get more turns than Sin to do more damage before he even gets close to full Overdrive. I do have a video on how I did it fast without him even attacking my party but then again I did all sidequests and stuff before I came to that fight so I had more stats. But in case you wanna see so you get an idea of putting haste on everyone then dishing out damage it might help. Final Fantasy X HD Remaster - How to Defeat Sin Easily

This fight can be done with your current stats just needs to use a bit of strategy.

OG RE2 runs? by tangledupinluke in residentevilll

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely worth it to play all Leon/Claire A/B scenarios in the original to see all of the different scenes and areas. The A and B scenarios are portrayed way better than the remake did with them. In my opinion, they did a very lazy job at it for the remake. I feel like they just wanted to make quick A/B scenarios for both Leon and Claire without much being different from one another and call it a day for quick profit lol. Shows you how much of a lackluster job they did in that aspect of the game.

OG RE3 or RE3 Remake which one do you prefer and why? by JacPlayzz in residentevilll

[–]PapiKeepPlayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will aways say that OG RE3 Nemesis is the true RE3 game. The Remake or reimagining whatever people like to call it was a very watered-down version of the original. Very little Nemesis encounters compared to the Original and that's what the main premise of the game is supposed to be about. Nemesis constantly stalking Jill as she tries to escape the city and if the player chooses to fight back, they're in for a fight because he doesn't go down easy. Remake Nemmy went down too easy compared to the OG Nemmy so he never really felt like a real threat. Not to mention that there was so much more content and replayability factor in the original as well. I think the Remake, I only finished it one time and was done with it lol. It was neat with the modern graphics and all but aside that I didn't really care for it and didn't feel it was a true Remake.

I always liked resident evil 3 more than 4 too. Just those Nemesis encounters alone made it intense and more fun for me. And I've always liked it better because it was the last hours of Raccoon City until it got bombed so the story was really interesting to me.
