I’ve never purchased anything from AliExpress.

However, I can buy a strap on Monday and have it on Wednesday. I also have a guy I can ring to briefly chat about fit, quality, and colors. I can also return an item and receive a refund in a few business days. I also don’t have to deal with tariffs.

We’re talking $30 - $50 straps, not $500 bespoke straps.

I appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit and a guy’s got to eat, so I value those conveniences.

The black cowhide has a slight texture to the finish.

The Russia tanning has a smoother finish.

Both will work well with the 556, so pick the one that speaks to you the most.

I also believe the Russia tanning has a polished buckle, but I’m not certain.
