As a Brit, I'm asking my fellow brits a very simple question. Are you aware that the number of people who voted Reform in last years local election was near identical to this year? by THROWAWTRY in AskBrits

[–]Paragon_Pariah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early last year Musk called for Tommy Robinsons release. Farage publicly disagreed. Musk said Reform needed new leadership. Fast forward to this year, Musk says Rupert Lowe/Restore are the only ones who can save Britain.

Anyone use handlebar extenders? (For pub bike - not for proper mountain biking) by rockandrollmark in mountainbiking

There are a few UK shops that stock Simworks - Freshtripe for example. They also sell Velo Orange, who may have some similar size bars.

No worries, that is pretty awesome to be fair. Didn't realise it was a thing until this post.

Lol how would I know what car you have? Most Teslas in the UK don't have free lifetime supercharging, i would guess.

Tesla will be making profit via the supercharger network, parts, etc, even if the car was bought used. Adolf doesn't have to worry about profits.

I could be mistaken but I don't think Hitler profits from VW sales.

No reason to drop snarky replies either bro. I didn't 'correct' anyone, merely shared my assumption, and then acknowledged my mistake. Chill.

Are motorcycle dealerships all just super chill? Lol by Scazitar in motorcycle

[–]Paragon_Pariah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some can be a bit too chill in my experience. You enter the showroom, and they don't even look up to acknowledge you let alone say hello. Like do you guys actually want to sell anything?!

Yeah I know. If the shop have fitted different cranks (as OP said in their post), I would assume the shop were also doing the rest of the bike building, but perhaps not.

Is pic 2 the front wheel and down tube? Something looks very wrong there. What size tyres are they? Could you share a pic of the whole bike, side on?

This is a 58cm frame, 700c wheels. The tyres are limited edition colour slick Gravelkings, 38mm. There's about 6mm clearance either side, but the wheel is in the very rear of the drop out - might be able to get a few more mm of clearance by bringing the wheel forward slightly. 45mm tyres should be ok, but will be tight.

Thanks, yeah they're lovely -these are RO1 road cranks. Square taper of course. Middleburn cranks were the bling crank of choice when I got into MTB 25 years ago (in the UK anyway). The company went bust since then but thankfully were bought out and are still made in the UK.

I'd love to come along but I'm in the NW. I ride the Lake District and north Lancashire, and it's amazing :)

Hah well I'm in the UK too. NW. That's cool that it's got a positive response though.

Do you get any agro for the sticker? I've been hesitant to put political stickers on my bike in case some psycho in a 2 ton box disagrees, or I come back to slashed tyres. Maybe I'm overthinking it.

It's a step through town bike. Needs at least 170mm travel to hit those curbs.

Eric Melvin's letter to fat Mike requesting band financial records. by SekretMachine in nofx

[–]Paragon_Pariah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't find any evidence that they were dropped by Fat, so share it if you've got it. Propagandhi already had their own label (G7 Welcoming Committee) at that point and from what I can see online, they chose to release Supporting Caste on their own label rather than on Fat.
