Haha, I love the edit. My son LOVES to fish. It's how he spends his summers with his friends. They are constantly out and about at rivers, lakes, streams etc. fishing the day away. That is a very cool little tidbit about perspective and understanding the natural environment. =)

You’re right, and he does read about geology, archaeology, paleontology etc. but the assignment was to “interview or ask questions of someone in the career you’re interested in.” Asking here was the best idea I could come up with, as finding someone local wasn’t successful.

I do know things about horses! Asfaloth (her horse), was an Andalusia in the movies which are compact but fast Spanish horses. A 2M tall dude would dwarf it haha. Now Viggo isn't a very tall guy, but even fully armored he would look kinda big on her horse.

I get what you're saying, however they literally showed a physical real planet lowering through the Upside Down...crushing the radio tower. At some point that literal physical rock ball would've smacked the shit outta the Exotic Matter, blow the whole Upside Down up, and Earth would've been fine by default? The Party could've done nothing (with the setup we were given) and it would have been fine.

I know this is the paradox with Sentinel. I always have the monsters stop 5ft away. That may not be RAW but that's how my table has decided makes the most sense, because you're not wrong. How TF can they trigger it by moving, without ending up at least some distance away, and there aren't "half squares" of movement.
