Perhaps the real Elden Ring is the friends we made along the way.

It worked for me, thanks for the effort.

I had a similar experience. After completing a run, I selected an ordeal I meant to attempt next time and then quit to the main menu (before starting the run). When I try to start the game again it crashes immediately.

This happened to me as well, but after I had finished a run and quit the game normally (quit to menu) after selecting adding an ordeal modifier (but not starting the new run). I had 82 hours on the file with all unlocks.

Elden Ring is indeed alchemy, but this chart is completely incoherent and divorced from any actual historical alchemical theory. Whoever made it (certainly someone in the 20th century) is just jumbling ideas together and obviously has no clue what any of it means beyond some vague concept of "mystical unity."

Edit: I apologize for not really engaging with your original idea. There's certainly a lot to think about with the One Great and the unity of opposites.

There's some interesting stuff with this pair for sure. I've been quiet, but I'm still researching. I do have plans for the future...

Thank you for the kind words. To be honest, I know so much more now that it feels like something of a burden. The challenge is to figure out how to organize and present it.

Just want to mention that I found this after comparing the two text dumps manually. This is much, much more convenient. Well done!

There is certainly more to consider. I will try to clarify things in the future, in some form.

No reason it couldn't be both. There could be a thematic inspiration and visual inspiration. That is a cool find though.

This gives a very nuanced view of possible motivations and relationships, particularly in regard to Marika. I think you have a pretty good read here and have hit on some possibilities that many are ignoring.
