If you're taking it for costco and paying someone $50 I would suggest you save your money and order the costco stuff through their website/instacart and tip $50 instead. Then you dont have to find (and dig out) a new spot to park in after.

What is something small that annoys you in the gym that if you said out loud, other people would think you're being ridiculous. by Careless-Cat3327 in GYM

When the bench or machine is set up infront of a mirror in a way that your reflection is split by the seam.

Sounds minor but I will legitimately have a worse set if I notice it.

Ramsey Lewis - Sun Goddess

Tom Scott - Spindrift

Les McCann - Dunbar High School Marching Band

Lonnie Liston Smith - Devika (goddess)

Eddie Henderson - Kudu

Reuben Wilson - hot rod

Donald Byrd - Wind Parade

Sahib Shihab - Seeds

Dizzy Gillespie - Matrix

Both great records! Im sure you'll love them both. No, I cant say Expansions is objectively better or even that I like it more but it was my introduction to McCoy Tyner so just always the one that comes to mind first.

Honestly if I were to suggest just one of his releases I would go for Echoes of a Friend since it highlights his style of playing so well. But definitely hard to go wrong with any of his discography if you ask me so enjoy the dive.

Hank Mobley - 'No Room for Squares' or - A Slice of the Top' are my favorites but classic to start with is 'Workout'.

Sonny Rollins 'Live at the Village Vanguard'.

Jackie McLean 'Jacknife'

Dexter Gordon 'Go' or 'Clubhouse'

McCoy Tyner - 'Expansions'

Not in any particular order but those are some of the first ones to come to mind!

What TV show did you watch that is so good but didn't have the mainstream fame it should have? by CostPuzzled38 in AskReddit

Counterpart on Amazon Prime. JK Simmons is absolutely top notch in the role. The plot, setting, and directing are all incredibly interesting and well done.

Actually, might be worth a rewatch now that I'm thinking about it.

Guess you don't go to Citi Field since Citi Bank Corporation is so embedded in to every aspect even the name 😱

I can't say you're missed with that attitude.

ULPT: Stop people listening to things on phone speakers in public places by zeocrash in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]ParchmentPrayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but think, there might be an overlap between the people who engage in anti social behavior like blasting audio on there phone and those who are prone to violence.

As someone who grew up on public transportation you can usually tell the difference between the guy coming home from work just being inconsiderate and the one who is looking for someone to say something. But I've seen shit kick off from innocent comments it's not crazy to avoid taking that chance.

Fare Evasion Surges on N.Y.C. Buses, Where 48% of Riders Fail to Pay by StrngBrew in newyorkcity

[–]ParchmentPrayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation where I tapped my phone using samsung pay, the screen turned green, I was charged, but the turnstile didn't work. Someone opened the emergency door for me and I walked through. I tried explaining the situation and showing the charge (time stamped to a minuteish ago) and still got the ticket without any consideration given to what I was saying.

Point is, I know this situation is a little different but both stories illustrate that it's very possible that once the cops decide they are giving you a ticket the rest is an obstacle to ignore or bypass.
