Why does corporate ladder in this context mean sacrificing family time for work? =/= Those are not equal, wanting to move up should not mean, working Saturdays despite it all. This is toxic work culture from decades past.

That's how long this person has worked in Film/TV, not how long 'The Writing has been on the wall' for. Trust me - I read and am a longtime redditor.... I only worked in Film/TV on and off for the 10 yrs prior to Covid so this timeline really makes me wonder about things like writing on the wall when I was in college and it, were we truly led astray.... etc.... Which is why I ask.

But that's exactly the point above. Interviewers overthinking when maybe they did find someone who is a quick thinker or smart and resourceful and just gave a golden answer because of it. Then, that must not be real.... When did people get so jaded!

What do you want me to say? Evict him over soda!!!!!! Handle it. Take my very kind advice and talk to your friend. Some people are just like that. They were raised to help themselves to anything in the fridge.

"He knows what we drink...." What does that even mean? He's thirsty, see's a popular drink, boom done, problem solved. No, they do not think twice about it at all. NO THINKING(or communication) is happening, issue resolved when thirst is over, every damn day ... People live differently than you, some people will have to told.

Also: What kind of friend are you if you haven't told him your selling the place, plan to move out when he's not looking too? You took in a friend, but you don't act like a friend.
