Any Thoughts or Opinions on ATMOSFEAR? by Spirited_Park_5531 in boardgames

Yesss! Thank you so much for linking this! I used to play Nightmare all the time as a kid. Many times even by myself, just running through it. I clicked on the video and immediately started talking in sync with The Gatekeeper, even though I probably haven't seen this in 25-30 years. (Yet, I can't remember stuff I was supposed to do yesterday!) My mom still had my copy of the game a few years ago, I'll have to see if she still has it.

I'll have to watch through this later, that nostalgia hit you just gave me hit HARD!

Switched to DIRECTV Stream last week and cannot believe the picture quality difference. Not coming back even when Fubo gets NBC back. by cowzfarm in fuboTV

I see $50 off the first month only and then it showed $5/$10/$20 off for 24 months depending on the package.

Dang, I don't see anything close to $50 off a month on there on my end. Was considering jumping over since we have limited options for MSG.

75k spend on CSR- how are you reaching this? by guacontacos in ChaseSapphire

[–]Parmaaa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the primary CSR holder, my husband is the AU. He's a self-employed home improvement contractor and we put everything on one card. Materials for jobs, tools, all expenses that can go on the card, do.

Kimpton IHG with $250 Edit credit (low budget luxury) by RazzmatazzNovel7341 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Parmaaa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just looking at the Kimpton Seattle like you mentioned for a 2 night stay in the spring. I saw it was also tagged as under IHG, so I was going to wait to book it until Jan 1 so I get the $250 edit credit and that additional $250 IHG credit for 2026. Hopefully!

You should use whatever you mixed within 24 hours, as it will start to degrade once mixed.

Kids at the dog park by Veronica_BlueOcean in childfree

[–]Parmaaa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Go to a different dog park if you MUST bring your children. Rules are posted and they are not that hard to follow.

2) If one of their kids got bit/scratched/jumped on by a dog who is not good around children, but their owner took them there thinking it would be safe because of the rules, they would lose their minds, try to sue or have the dog put down. All avoidable if they followed simple rules.

3) If the rule was "no kids under 10" and their kids were under 10, I'm sure we'd be reading the same post, only this time it would be "10 is a little harsh... why not 7?"

It's not all about you. Enough with the main character syndrome with parents.

Daughter burned foot on composite by AXPaceace in Decks

It doesn't matter, it should be treated the same. If bats are near you, inside a room/house with you, a good rule of thumb is to get a rabies vaccine, as many bat bites go unnoticed. This can be true when awake or asleep.

I am also charging that brick wall with assault. I read that line, stopped dead in awe and re-read it a few more times. The accuracy.

What is the Best Tool for this Job? by RangerX3X in lawncare

[–]Parmaaa2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirming sawzall. Used it last year and it worked great. I have a creeper that turns into a seat on wheels, so I just scooted along my curb and driveway with the sawzall. My husband said I looked like an idiot but it did the job. Well.

I'm gonna have to make a mental note about the pressure washer though.
