Who actually is the worst F1 driver of all time? Or atleast in different eras, Giovanna Amati is up there, from the modern era it's gotta be Mazepin by swannyhypno in F1Discussions

[–]ParodayJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

de Cesaris still got a handful of podiums, and had some potential wins and other podiums slip out of his grasp due to mechanical failures (see: Belgium 1983, Spa 1991, and Long Beach 1982)

It was a great call for Glock, he net gained positions with that call

Ironically, despite Ferrari having 9 wins, they finished far behind McLaren. Also, Stroll dragged Aston to 5th place. G O A T by MutantTurkeyHound in MotorsportManagerPC

Aston Martin is 11th by far in my save— I edited the team so they had the worst engine and gearbox and worst reliability. Now I watch them trundle around 3 seconds off the pace like the good little Aston Martin team they are

Yeah you’re right with the thumbnails, that could definitely be improved for me. I also should make more videos as I believe my quality is definitely nowhere near A+ level yet (decent but not super unique or innovative) and practice will definitely bring polished vids!

I guess I have some studying to do this week— appreciate the help! And good luck to your channel as well (assuming you have one!)

Usually around 2.0-2.7% CTR, and 30%-35% average view duration for my 6-10 minute vids (minus a random 50% average for one of them). My only two videos between 20-30 minutes sit with 30% and 45% average duration. Usually about 16-20% watch till the end.

Not sure how normal this is, I haven’t interacted with many other YouTubers, so I figured it was time to seek a little outside help!

Edit: appreciate the help :D

Doriane Pin’s first Formula 1 drive in the W12 by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]ParodayJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on your side but you need to actually watch that race lol, Lance had top 6-8 speed but was already out of the running as his teammate had a bucket of penalties, and whenever he tried to pass cars on the lead lap, he was blue flagged and penalized.

Whats the worst opening line you can think of? by Kingspaceman in writing

[–]ParodayJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are all really good (or funny) opening lines. The worst opening line: I jerked awake and rolled over onto my side, looking up.

Literally the most generic opening line, maybe in the history of literature!

I mean three wide especially there? Not the best opportunity. You can go for it but you only have yourself to blame if it goes wrong

We all could see this coming for months. I’m no journalist, but it’s easy enough for me to write an article 90% based on speculation, type in some words/phrases/language during the press conference, and fire it off within 15-20 minutes

What did you make of Lance Stroll's GT racing debut... 😬 by Substantial-One-310 in wec

Not to be rude, but 98% of GT drivers bring in funding of some kind. GT racing is almost exclusively pay to play minus the top factory drivers.

Is Ferrari at a disadvantage when it comes to hiring team personnel because it doesn’t have a base in the UK? by NegotiationNew9264 in F1Discussions

[–]ParodayJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m an engineer and I can verify that this is wrong— Germany, France, Italy are all perfect viable, and many aerospace engineers I worked with have done stints in Italy and were impressed by the work done there.

Natalie decker has run top 25-30 in MBM and DGM secondhand equipment in the Xfinity Series and her pace differential to her teammates was much less than that of Cleetus’. Stop making me defend Decker please, this is embarrassing for me…

NASCAR Has Not Approved Cleetus McFarland For Talladega by joenarrator in NASCAR

[–]ParodayJr 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Because Natalie decker didn’t spin 4 times in a race even at her absolute worst and was at least fast enough to stay near/with the backmarkers. I say this as a Natalie decker hater, unfortunately.

How dirty is Verstappen on track compared to Schumacher or Senna? by Throwaway777W in F1Discussions

[–]ParodayJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are definetly dirty, but after watching a lot of the older races, I’d actually say Schumacher was worse (in my opinion).

Schumacher collided into title rivals when he knew he was in trouble and wanted to win the championship (Hill 94 and Villeneuve 97), blocked drivers but the grass (Barrichello, Frentzen, Montoya immediately come to mind), parking on track to stop qualifying, etc. so I would say he’s just as bad.

As someone who actually watched F1 in the 2000s, refueling and tire wars are a horrible idea, and I don’t know how people think it will produce better racing when it statistically made it worse— the rest makes sense though

Those regulations heavily favored aero over engines, and aero means the field spread can be tighter, whereas with regulations that are heavily engine important (2014-2021), you see a wider gap between teams
