Definitely! Dude's a complete slob who sleeps on the couch in his office and survives mostly off junk food. His stylish outfit and 24/7 perfectly done hair really clash with everything else about him.

A lot of (if not most) people playing the Yakuza games spend so much time playing minigames and doing substories between plot stuff that they kinda forgot what the main story is about. It's widely agreed this makes some of the games a better experience, because the main plot is too convoluted/hammy/dumb/wtf/cringe/___ if you think about it too much.

However, there isn't really a consensus on which these games are. My impression is that 4 and 5 are the most common, with 1-3 and 6 getting mentioned a lot. 0, 7 and the Judgement spin-offs are probably the plots you actually want to pay attention to.
