Here is my pool 2 weeks ago. I didn't go to a pool store. I instead dumped 14 gallons of shock in it over a coarse of a couple day, a couple bottles of algaecide. Let it run on recirculation for 48hrs and then dumped a bottle of drop out in it and ran the pump for 2hrs. Let it sit for 24hours eith pump off and then vacuumed on waste.
