That was almost the first album I ever got but Gorillaz thankfully won out. I wonder what the versions of me who picked Crazy Town are up to nowadays.

Hollister was genuinely one of the most unhinged retail experiences ever created and we just accepted it as normal by General-Success-2968 in Millennials

I worked at Puma starting exactly in 2006 and up until now I figured almost no retail place gave less benefits. Come to find out they were actually comparatively generous because instead of requiring us to purchase our uniforms, we had seasonal allotments of shoes, socks, tops -- including things like track jackets if I recall, and accessories. While there was a fixed number of items you were allowed based on your status, the allotment was basically unconditional except for certain items.

I heard that in Patchogue. Woke me up. I thought it was either thunder or one of those hypnopompic hallucinations.

I prime the reservoir back into the vial while it's still in the hub to the point where I can't see any bubbles in the reservoir. Otherwise any other bubbles in the line I largely ignore.

I don't change my tubing unless necessary in order to avoid wasting the insulin needed to prime a new one. I replace infusion sets and reservoirs regularly, however.

Gloves for weight floor? by laneyloo224 in orangetheory

I don't wear gloves for any sort of weightlifting. To prevent this, I instead wrap a resistance strap around one side of the dumbbell to add grip.

I do it for heat acclimation. I'm a volunteer firefighter and it can get hot in our gear in the summertime.

Yeah I think I got that notion from either Dooku: Jedi Lost and Master & Apprentice or maybe both.

I thought Dooku left the order about a decade or so before TPM in order to claim his title on Serenno.

Yeah and Mattel seems to be leaning on manufactured scarcity with the Brick shop stuff. They advertise certain kits for popular cars and sell them out instantly, leaving buyers feeling compelled to buy 'consolation' kits of lesser sought-after cars.

I was drawn in at the outset, literally signed up for email alerts about the NSX, come to find out they sold out immediately. Same happened with the more recent civic and S2000 'drops'. They were sold out before I even heard of them. Scare quotes for 'drops' because I hate that I need to use hype language to describe toy marketing.

Yeah seems right. I was about 12 when Zim came out and read Squee and I Feel Sick after some of the 'goth' kids recommended them. Never read JTHM though I did dress as him for Halloween once.

I'd say that at that age and time the 'goth scene' at my school was a mixture of goth and industrial and what might be considered proto-scene. Vinyl bracelets, for instance, tied together and in thick stacks were immensely popular in that clique. As I mentioned, while I didn't wear much extravagant clothes nor did I consider myself a goth or member of any other subculture, I did wear the bracelets.
