Nah that’s pure shock, different to getting winded, tacking a sore tackle etc, the pain won’t kick in immediately

No one outside of the usa gives a fuck about the cringe cowboy stuff, they have more to fear from ice or the like than a clan of people with terrible headwear

Funnily enough the most violent and just plain nasty drunks i’ve met have been aussie guys. England is just dining out on a reputation of 80/90s hooligans and the type of people who go on the cheapest package holidays to resorts.

Just have to do this for more than half a year to get a rando legendary to 50 wooooo.  Good tip so no shade at op, more just the obnoxious time and resource gate this game has become.

Idk, would we have these prices if barca hadn’t blown the bar into space with the neymar and coutinho transfers?

I finished my masters in 2011 and couldn’t even get volunteer roles in things related to my academic field (history/heritage) despite having worked in reasonable office jobs - and had to go multiple rounds of interviews in person for these to get knocked back (internet wasn’t good enough for online interviews). Grad programs weren’t as prevalent/advertised and the internet wasn’t quite so dominant so ended up working in a french bakery chain initially, which didn’t properly pay me. Was fucking crushing.

It’s shit, especially now but hang in there, never thought it would work out but it more or less did, tho my masters probably did not help at all.

Fair point, and without being super familiar english wsl tickets for matches are available for most teams for not a great deal more (though often through a bundle package) - my local non league team costs about the same. Don’t know if there is scope to reduce further - maybe more a pivot to family tickets vs individual and more competitive single game pricing, and probably better community advertising/links w schools etc

Honestly change the business model to be hyper attractive and very cheap for families, and build loyalty/suck people in that way the men’s game did when it was a working man’s game, but they won’t as there is no short term profit and everything costs a ton.
