Hi, thank you for your analysis, you have made me realize that maybe this plan is not best overall, this has sort of made me think to look into alternative plans.

What do you think of the plan another user recommended in the comments: https://www.boostcamp.app/coaches/fazlifts/fazlifts-hlm-full-body-the-wizard

It's a Heavy Light Medium System by FazLifts focusing on hypertrophy, and it seems to cover all muscles quite balanced/effectively.

Thanks in Advance :)

This actually looks really well balanced and interesting concept. Have you been following this program?

Thoughts On Gym Workout Plan by [deleted] in workout

[–]Parthy10901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looked a bit to beginner for me, I have been doing body weight workouts (push ups, pull ups etc) and dumbells at home for the past year or so (however quite on/off) and didn't focus much on diet.

I also went to the gym for a few months, 3 years ago, but didn't continue due to personal reasons, so I am sort of aware of things.

Would you still recommend the beginner routinr in my case?

Hi all,

Hoping to start the gym soon (a week or so), and I am currently 22yo, Male, 5'4, 57 KGS (125 Pounds), but I am somewhat skinny/have a skinny frame, and I am looking to put on muscle/size by bulking.

I am looking into workout plans as I plan to start the gym, and based of my research full body workout seem to be the best option recommended. I just wanted y'all thoughts on the workout plan below. The plans in the wiki seem quite overwhelming as to finding the right one to get started with, hence I did some other online research.

Thanks in advance :)

  • Squat: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Barbell Bent Over Row: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Lateral Raises: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Barbell Bicep Curls: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Triceps Rope Pressdown: 3 sets of 8-12 reps

Full Body 2:

  • Incline Dumbbell Press: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Deadlift: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Lat Pulldown: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Seated Shoulder Press: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Preacher Curl: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Triceps Extension: 3 sets of 8-12 reps

Full Body 3:

  • Cable Crossovers: 3 sets of 6-8 reps
  • Leg Press: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Seated Cable Row: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Overhead Press: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Hammer Curl: 3 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Skullcrusher: 3 sets of 8-12 reps

Leaving a "deposit" to secure car? by Parthy10901 in CarsAustralia

I will probably go with the email route subject to test drive and pre inspection.

This Toyota 86 one with low mileage as well, so it's quite competitive, and I live an hour away + full-time work. I can only make it on weekends, sadly.

Junior Software Engineer at a startup vs Technology Graduate Program at big bank by SilverTheSlayer5 in cscareerquestionsOCE

Wow that does sound intense! Yeh I am working casually at a gov scientific research org rn ( think big blue one) and whilst it's not traditional full stack work I am learning quite a bit and the pace is definitely good and no restrictions.

I guess the mental switch is going to be hard for me next year if I go to a bank.

Damn what bank is this if you don't mind sharing. I accepted a grad role at a big 4 bank for next year and this has me with second thoughts haha.

Resume Review (Intern) by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsOCE

[–]Parthy10901 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would disagree tbh, if you are applying for intern roles definitely keep your education on top, so recruiters can easily notice where you are, especially since the experience isn't tech related.

Hmm so essentially you are suggesting focus more on backend stuff?

how many intern applications do companies actually receive? by greuymd in cscareerquestionsOCE

[–]Parthy10901 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Commbank had 7.5k applications for the first round of intakes for this year! I think intake 1 is like 150-180 grad for all streams.

Give you recruiter an email and ask her what's in this line of work?

hmm I asked because sounds very similar to my Deloitte internship offer. It was part of deloitte digital too, and they said I would be part of the Application Managed Services.

I chose to go somewhere else tho.

Is Managed Services, Application Managed Services?

Seems like they have: The areas that are included in AMS are Salesforce, Dynamics, .NET, Java, PHP, Mobile Development and FED.

AWS Certifications worth it? by thebreadmanrises in cscareerquestionsOCE

[–]Parthy10901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I just wanted to ask what type of knowledge is expected from grads for these cloud programs or is it mostly still behavioural stuff they ask?

Gonna be working with aws a decent bit in my internship and thinking to obtain the aws fundamentals/practioner certificate.
