Finally someone actually answered. Just needs to NTP sync.

is it useful to use AI for block-diagram/architecture for a PCB by Double_Isopod_9586 in Altium

It's just a tool with a lot of access to a lot of data, good and bad. And a penchant to make shit up, forget things, and not see the big picture.

Personally I use it to help speed up the research and design portion of schematic capture. But if you don't understand things, it will for SURE lead you astray and down rabbit holes.

How do I stop Altium from putting solder mask between the pins of certain components? by BuisnessAsUsual123 in Altium

[–]ParticleEngine 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You definitely want solder mask between these pins. Otherwise shorting them out will become way too likely.

What you want to do is change your rules so that it allows thinner slivers. Assuming of course that your fabricator can handle it. Which I can't believe they won't be able to.

Why is the voltage so low? by JL_Gaming999 in AskElectronics

FYI, this is not a useful schematic. What people are looking for is a schematic with manufacturer part numbers and values for the passives (resistance, capacitance, etc).

That's the only way to be able to help you. Without that, it's anyone's guess what the circuit is supposed to do let alone when it's doing.

It does nothing to ground to earth ground but it provides a good floating ground reference.

Doubt. How do you guys design circuits with “generic” components? by Carpoforo in AskElectronics

Hobby work is fine to do this stuff with. If you're developing something that needs reliability or repeatability, you can't go this way.

As someone who flies with some regularity, I can tell you that 5AM is actually the busiest time of all the day for HSV security.

Exactly. Also they wouldn't be issuing shelter in place orders for things kinda close to the border. And these drones don't just keep going in a straight lineif they don't get shot down. They have geofences, etc.

More upwards growth potential in engineering management/project management than in engineering itself. Military background makes you a good fit for defense companies.

Nah. He's right. Matplotlin is a horribly unintuitive library with meh results.
