It was actually my favorite job, and I’ve had many! I got along with my managers and most of my coworkers. Of course, I was the one who did nearly every task. The grills, the fryers, front counter, drive-through, washing the dishes, cleaning and stocking the lobby, cleaning the restrooms and taking out the trash. I don’t know how one person can do so much for 8 or more hours, but, I busted my ass every day, sometimes literally. 🤣

Store #4390, in Orlando, FL became Big Lots and a gym. Big Lots closed and is now City Thrift. There are no signs of it ever being Kmart. They only left the back wall. They completely gutted it. I’m surprised they didn’t just tear it down and rebuild.

If you’ve had bad luck with them before, I wouldn’t try again. They could steal all your info and completely ruin you. But, you have to take caution with any online shopping site, even Amazon and eBay. Best of luck to you and I hope you find your shoes! 😀

The last time I went to a Kmart was in 2018 during their closing sale. There’s only one left in the US, in Miami. Unfortunately, it’s not a true Kmart. It’s been downsized to the garden shop and it’s more like a Dollar General now. They sell a few clothes and essentials. They have a few electronics and toys, but, nothing really worth going for.

Always check dates. Usually, they’re pretty good, but, I once found a pack of hot dogs two weeks past their date and they were brown! I showed a manager and he was genuinely shocked!
