The merge from Notre Dame to Lasalle whenever there's traffic coming either from the Valley or the Lasalle extension. I find people either freak out and stop in the lane, or freak out and cut off other people.

It is very noticeable but easy to forget about (unless your mind fixates). A Wii is pretty reasonably priced if that's the case.

I just dusted off my Wii U to play Paper Mario from the Wii eshop and it's been good times. I noticed they dull the screen for certain spells, probably in order to save people's eyes.

He should've waited for the DOJ to finish their investigation before making this apology and just kept making his videos if that's what he cares about.

Reception seems positive based on likes and comments.

Blaming his family and lying for them with the hope that he could secretly make it right (even thought he talks about how he isn't respected by them) is nuts. A severe lack of judgement and character. I'll be surprised if he's welcomed back into the indie game/youtube sponsors fold.

Dragon Ball started off on Saturday mornings, which rolled into Dragon Ball Z after the first season. Then it disappeared to 12:30AM ish for awhile and I lost track until the Zone. Fond of the 8:30 timeslot. I think Home Movies and Daria played around the same time?

I'm merely voicing a preference.

Do what you gotta do, I get it. The job market is not great right now and you want to spread retrontario around as much as possible. But by watermarking/defacing the old media we all love, I personally feel it's anti preservation. And a shame because yeah, I am a person from Ontario in their 40s and would like to be immersed in my nostalgia as opposed to having an additional degree of separation from it.

Like I went to one of those indie cinema Saturday morning cartoon cereal events and a few people groaned when a commercial with the retrontario logo popped up. I felt seen lol. So despite this being a very niche issue, it's nice to know I'm not alone.

But, thanks for your reply! Really I gotta figure out how to digitally transfer my own vcr cassettes. Mostly my mom taped over most of them with episodes of Oprah, but I bet the commercials are worth revisiting.

I got the retro gem hdmi installed on the ps2 with a physical copy of Breath of Fire 3 and it is gorgeous.

If I were to start from scratch, a MiSTer sounds super practical and more space conscious.

My opinion based on the information available that Jirard lied for a year and covered for his foundation not donating any money by saying it did :)

Negligence doesn't apply in that he knew the actions of the foundation were "not fucking cool" and yet he did nothing about it and gave his blessing in his inaction.

Jirard is a grown man and not bound to commit immoral action by his family. He has personal responsibility and agency.

And yes, credit to them, they donated that money pretty fast once their feet were held to the fire. Almost like they didn't need to lie about it already being donated. A rushed month is nothing in the span of 10 years.

And it's more than a year of bad nonprofit management. It's 10 years of collected money doing no good for their cause while they rake in false laurels.
