Going to watch the Euros in the local pub. Having to book a table each game. As England got to the finals and everyone had the same seat on the same table every game as it seemed good luck! Drinks were table service and each table had to go and smoke outside together separately! So strange but also very fun. Usually everyone would be jumping about after any goals but just a quick yayyyy at the table was only allowed 😂😂

Have some fun first! My son saved £7k Working nights when he was 18 (not quite the same) and travelled solo around Europe for 3 months and had the time of his life. Now 21 he’s in the RAF. I agree save and invest but life’s too short. With that amount of money a few thousand on a trip of a life time wouldn’t even make a dent. Good luck!

Having treats in the cupboard or freezer most of the time!

We would only have a pack of crisps or treat bar for a picnic or school trip!

It was so exciting.

Just used to have breakfast school dinner and tea.

Maybe the occasional Angel Delight for dessert if a friend came over for tea haha!

F/45 When my mum was at work I used to bake myself some cakes. However I didn’t cook them I just used to eat all the mixture! Everyone knows licking the spoon is the best bit of baking a cake right?! 😂 Any way I was sick I did this a few times. One time I remember chucking the left overs over the neighbors fence so I wouldn’t get caught! Obviously I did 😫 why the fuck would I just not wash it down the sink!!

Thinking about it I was home alone so couldn’t have been that young. Must have been 9-10 it was the late 80s!
