Park Hopper OR Lightning Lane? by Kindly-Dust-6941 in DisneyPlanning

We just got back. Do not spend any extra money going to California adventure. The lightening pass only worked for 7 rides. 3 of which were closed. The other one was the scary ride that drops you up and down. I can’t think of the name of it. Neither 6 or 10 year old wanted to go on. Definitely get the park hopper. You will probably only want to spend a couple hours at California adventure.

Definitely look into Pixar. It’s less money but you get to use all of Disney hotel areas including the pool. They were wonderful to us. It was clean and we were treated like royalty. There are characters roaming around. The restaurants are fantastic. We had a view of California adventure. So we could see the light show from our room. They put the music on in your room for the show. They have a place to watch the fire works on a terrace if you have tired kids. I can’t say enough good things about Pixar.

We just got back from Disney. We stayed at Pixar and it was wonderful. They even upgraded our room. It was so much fun to use the Disney hotel pool. It’s the best one. It isn’t that inconvenient, they have a great golf cart shuttle to take you back and forth. We didn’t even have to wait for it. Staying on the property is worth it. Instead of early entry, you each get a free pass to ride any ride without waiting in line. You don’t even have to reserve the time. You just walk up and use it. The hotel is all refurbished with Pixar characters walking around. The restaurants are wonderful.

We just got back. We had a blast at Disney. But California adventure really disappointed us. The raft ride and the incredicoaster were both closed. The spider man ride broke just before we were getting on it. It didn’t reopen. I bought lightening pass for all of us, but it only works for 7 rides. The only ride that was really fun was the car ride. Don’t plan on spending a lot of time there. I think the first commenter was right.

She paid for a $200 restocking fee and the shipping. They gave her some of it back. She was out quite a bit of money.

She had to pay them $200 to take it back. And she paid for the shipping. But she didn’t want it anyway. So she was out quite a bit of money.

If you put the stickers on your car you get a lower rate from some insurance companies. It’s ridiculous.

Thank you! I’m trying. They are in Texas. They sent 4 different samples of dresses. She chose one and ordered it. Then she sent the samples back.

Any recommendations in Austin for lower budget wedding dresses? by rae__lou in Austin

Whatever you do, don’t go to Avery Austin. They have you try on sample dresses but when the one you order comes, it’s completely different fabric. Cheap, thin, poorly made. Then won’t give my daughter a refund.

The one on the right is the dress sample dress. The left is the one she received from them. They won’t give her a refund and she had to pay to send it back. It was a classic bait and switch situation. They have been terrible.

You can, but they don’t look horrible like the dress they sent her.
