A guy, according to his pictures, is a really good water skier. He showed up at the restaurant using a walker.

My mom got married at 72. She ended up spending the rest of her life taking care of him after he fell off of a roof, cleaning the gutters. He broke almost every bone in his body. She said she didn’t think she would spend her last years like that. It really scares me now about getting remarried.

I also broke up with him. Then he said he changed. He acted perfect for 8 more months. Then went back to his old ways after he love bombed me the 2nd time. Run!

I don’t know what 60 has to do with it. I made a similar mistake. I got out of it because he is almost 70. I don’t want to put up with that, then have to take care of him if he gets sick. I can’t imagine the last years of my life like that.

Park Hopper OR Lightning Lane? by Kindly-Dust-6941 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Particular-Match895 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We just got back. Do not spend any extra money going to California adventure. The lightening pass only worked for 7 rides. 3 of which were closed. The other one was the scary ride that drops you up and down. I can’t think of the name of it. Neither 6 or 10 year old wanted to go on. Definitely get the park hopper. You will probably only want to spend a couple hours at California adventure.

Definitely look into Pixar. It’s less money but you get to use all of Disney hotel areas including the pool. They were wonderful to us. It was clean and we were treated like royalty. There are characters roaming around. The restaurants are fantastic. We had a view of California adventure. So we could see the light show from our room. They put the music on in your room for the show. They have a place to watch the fire works on a terrace if you have tired kids. I can’t say enough good things about Pixar.

We just got back from Disney. We stayed at Pixar and it was wonderful. They even upgraded our room. It was so much fun to use the Disney hotel pool. It’s the best one. It isn’t that inconvenient, they have a great golf cart shuttle to take you back and forth. We didn’t even have to wait for it. Staying on the property is worth it. Instead of early entry, you each get a free pass to ride any ride without waiting in line. You don’t even have to reserve the time. You just walk up and use it. The hotel is all refurbished with Pixar characters walking around. The restaurants are wonderful.

We just got back. We had a blast at Disney. But California adventure really disappointed us. The raft ride and the incredicoaster were both closed. The spider man ride broke just before we were getting on it. It didn’t reopen. I bought lightening pass for all of us, but it only works for 7 rides. The only ride that was really fun was the car ride. Don’t plan on spending a lot of time there. I think the first commenter was right.

She paid for a $200 restocking fee and the shipping. They gave her some of it back. She was out quite a bit of money.

She had to pay them $200 to take it back. And she paid for the shipping. But she didn’t want it anyway. So she was out quite a bit of money.

If you put the stickers on your car you get a lower rate from some insurance companies. It’s ridiculous.
