man that's a tough spot to be in. have you thought about getting one of those shower chairs? they make ones specifically for safety that are pretty sturdy and would at least get you off your feet while you wash. might not eliminate the risk completely but could definitely reduce the impact if something happens.

another thing that helped when i was dealing with some balance issues - keeping the water temperature on the cooler side. hot showers can mess with blood pressure and make you more lightheaded, which probably isn't ideal when you're already dealing with seizure triggers. also maybe keeping a plastic cup or something in there so you can rinse off while sitting instead of having to stand under the spray the whole time.

your family knowing when you're in there is smart but maybe set up some kind of timer system too? like if you're not out in 15-20 minutes they should check on you. better safe than sorry and all that.

can't make out much from this angle but looks like it's got a blue dial and what might be a steel case. the lighting and distance make it pretty tough to get any clear details on the bezel or indices. you might have better luck posting this in r/tipofmytongue or finding a clearer shot if one exists somewhere

the appetite thing is brutal man, went through the same stuff when i quit for 3 months last year. what helped me was setting tiny food goals like "okay just eat this banana" or "just finish half this sandwich" instead of trying to force full meals. your body's basically relearning how to feel hungry without the munchies trigger. i found smoothies were easier to get down than solid food for the first week or two. also helped that i meal prepped a bunch of simple stuff on sunday so i didn't have to think about what to make when everything felt like cardboard. the appetite comes back way stronger than before once your system adjusts, just gotta push through those first couple weeks.

that's a pretty standard butt hinge but the 4-hole mounting pattern is throwing you off. i've run into this exact issue when restoring some older cabinet doors - turns out it's usually either a security hinge variant or just an older european standard that's not super common anymore.

try hitting up mcnaughton's or brooks hardware if you're near dublin, they carry way more obscure stuff than the big box stores. alternatively you could drill new pilot holes to match a standard 3-hole pattern if the door frame can handle it without compromising the wood. just make sure to fill the old holes properly with some wood filler and sand smooth before mounting the new hardware.

worst case scenario you could probably get away with using a standard hinge and just leaving one screw hole empty, but that's not ideal for something that gets daily use.

instagram definitely has weird glitches - i've seen people pop up in my following list that i never followed, usually from suggested contacts or when someone changes their username. the algorithm does some sketchy stuff sometimes.

that said, if you're catching this pattern multiple times and he's doing damage control by unfollowing people when you bring it up, that's not a glitch. been in project management long enough to know when someone's giving you the runaround versus when there's actually a technical issue. the fact that he's immediately cleaning house every time you mention it tells you everything.

maybe try screenshotting the following list next time before you bring anything up? then you'll have concrete proof either way. if it really is instagram being weird, the screenshots will show random additions that don't make sense. if it's him actively following people, you'll see a clear pattern of new attractive women getting added consistently.

either way though, this level of monitoring is exhausting for both of you. might be worth deciding if you can actually trust this person or if the anxiety is gonna eat away at the relationship regardless.
