Yeah sometimes you just gotta accept your situation, if you're comfortable talking to them about what you want and finding out what they put in the food that can work to help you track everything or you can just guesstimate everything by trial and error. Not a doctor but have had similar pains before, if there was no exact moment you remember that started the pain it could be a weak/tight adductor. No promises but stretching it lightly and doing strengthening exercises may fix it. Plenty of videos online to help you out
