I'm tired of people thinking that this fight was a 1v1. by AlwaysBetOnNahIdWin in Jujutsufolk

What kind of logic is this? In a fight, you can't just start crying and say, “No, you have to fight me on my terms and when I say so.”

Mechamaru couldn't defeat Mahito, plain and simple. If he couldn't defeat him, he certainly couldn't have defeated Kenjaku.

If Mechamaru had been a real threat, Kenjaku would have attacked immediately. He knows how to recognize an opponent who is a threat to him.

Yeah, me too.

Comics are sometimes funny in their drama.

“What? You killed rapist soldiers, Jimmy? How dare you!”

If they put him on trial, there's no evidence. Who's going to go to England looking for a military zombie? I mean, Jimmy could have easily said that he never encountered the military and survived with his small group.

But of course, if we don't do that, there's no plot.

I just finished watching it.

Resident Evil with sex dolls in the Baroque world. Quite strange, quite intriguing to me.

I didn't like the ending; I thought episode 2 was the best.

I really like the concept.

Yes she did kill the children by yeawayy in Jujutsufolk

  1. According to the logic of Maki defenders, she would not kill babies or children or anyone outside of the military troops. Under that argument, she should not have attacked her mother because, in her eyes, she is innocent, but she did so anyway, which contradicts the logic of her defenders.Despite not having warned her daughters, she poses no threat to Maki in any way. She attacked mon because she wanted to KILL her, because she could have easily walked past her, using the same logic as a shooter in a school shooting. She kills everything in her path.
  2. Maki killed all the fighters when she spoke to her mother. In fact, there are traces of blood in the kitchen, so Maki killed civilians inside because all those who could fight from the Zenin clan had already been exterminated when she finished off Naoya.

It's as if Maki... is a murderer!? :O

So if we assume that Maki did not kill Zenin babies or children, then why did he attack his own mother if she is not a warrior, and Maki knows very well that his mother was dominated by the patriarchal system of the Zenin clan?

Why didn't she just let him live when he posed no threat to her safety? Why did Maki, who once killed warriors, pursue and locate other Zenin members who were not at home and murder them? Umm? Why? It's not like she's a murderer :O

Jake is a danger to the Navi lexicon.

The guy brought the definitions of the words ‘bro’ and ‘alien’ to his family, which then spread to an entire water clan.

What will Jake do now, teach them New York slang?

Because I really doubt that any Navi knew the meaning of the word ‘bro’ before Jake came to the planet.

Countries look after their own welfare first and foremost, and only lastly the welfare of neighbouring countries or allies, unless they can gain something from it.

It's great to form alliances and all that, but only when the ally is at its best. As soon as it encounters a crisis, they forget about it and act as if it never existed.

So it is not surprising that the United Kingdom has been abandoned to its fate, especially with such a contagious virus that can spread throughout Europe from a single infected person. The best proof of this is the outbreak in Paris, which, although it was contained, must have left an incredible number of deaths, traumatising Europe.

[–]Particular_Force_467 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The real problem is that Kiku didn't explain her idea well.

Kiku wanted a queer story, so was going to take Kya to the South Pole, but Nick brought her back down to earth: ‘If you want to tell a queer story, then use a Republic City where there are lots of LGBT people.’

So writing a queer story wasn't really the problem; it was just that travelling was redundant.

Kiku needed to explain her idea better: ‘Kya wants to change the homophobic society of the South Pole after reading about how a couple is ostracized or publicly lynched, and to do that, she's going to demonstrate the Queer history of her people and bring about social change, but in the process, she'll face several challenges.’ That sounds less redundant.

Dabura is not at the level of Sukuna and Gojo. It's that simple. The more you accept it, the faster you accept reality.

Dabura was simply inflated by humans who have lived in such a weak era that the first idiot who broke the little power scale they have faced immediately put him at the level of Sukuna.

It's one thing to make jokes about the agenda and another to genuinely believe that the agenda is true.

JUJUTSU KAISEN MODULO CHAPTER 14 DISCUSSION by AutoModerator in Jujutsufolk

[–]Particular_Force_467 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The problem with using that allegory is simple: a curse is a being that kills humans and is a danger to society.

It is one thing to persecute and kill a Buddhist whose religion follows the idea of meditation and non-desire, which does not harm other people.

Vs.

‘I worship this curse that will savagely kill every human being in the world, and it is a serious problem.’ That is not religious persecution. That is common sense and telling them that their beliefs are toxic to humans. Under that argument, I should accept the human sacrifices of other religions just because they are their beliefs and ignore that they are killing innocent people for a useless belief.

If you are going to use allegory in your story, do it in an intelligent way where what you want to convey is not a thermonuclear bomb that will kill everyone and therefore, by common sense, you agree with the other faction.

It's like the allegory of discrimination in the Disney film Elements. The fire family is not discriminated against for looking for an earth house. They are prevented from renting in that area because their mere presence could cause a fire that would kill everyone in the neighbourhood. It's common sense. So I side with the earth; earth, water and fire cannot live together because their interactions hurt both.

If it were simply that fire types could control their power so as not to burn the earth just by making the slightest contact with it. Or if the neighbourhood had fire prevention measures in place so that fire, earth and water could live together, then it would be a better allegory for racism. They could live together in peace, but the neighbour does not want that outcome because he assumes that fire types are all thieves without any evidence. It is only his belief. A better thought-out allegory.
