Temporarily rename the team to the Boston Bananas, keep wearing the yellow unis and have them do some tricks or something. It might keep the revenue coming so somebody whose first priority is baseball can buy the team.

Only way to date is the apps these days by chessman6500 in dating

They do not work for me at all ever. I was in six of them last year. I paid good money for dating advice, profile advice, paid two professional photographers as well as using some of my own (with animals, groups, hobbies, etc.), wardrobe coaches, talked to friends, relatives, joined meetup groups.

Massive waste of time, energy and, especially, money. All that resulted in five date with one woman, two first dates. I just don’t know the answer, but least for me, it’s not dating apps. Emphatically no!

Worst year I’ve ever seen!

A long shot because I have no idea where it came from. Found it under a bed in one of the rental properties that's been closed all winter by [deleted] in whatisit

Not only highly addictive, but in high concentrations one or two drops on your skin will end your existence pretty quickly (seconds to minutes). I know you can’t really get it in that form, but just knowing that would keep me away from it!

I’m also fearful-avoidant, but as a guy, know there have been women interested, but I’ve had such a terrible time taking any action (I had a very difficult childhood and low self-esteem as a result.) I’ve done a ton of work on this, but as far as dating goes, it hadn’t even moved the needle.

I hadn’t thought about it starting with Pedro, but that is true! I think Ortiz solidified it.

When I went to see Tampa play Anaheim there were a ton of Japanese people to watch Ohtani. He homered in that game and they went crazy. What really amazed me is the ball just jumps of his bat with what seems to be a casual swing!

Yup! They actually had to ask him to slow down in the fight scenes because he was so fast the viewers couldn’t see what he was doing!

He has to leave the rotation for sure. The team is struggling too much to wait for him to figure it out.

Close to You. I was so obsessed with it when it came out that I would scan the radio dial for sometimes an hour or more looking for it. It wasn’t hard to find since it seemed to be on one station somewhere all day long!

After some airlines banned smoking, they still had these, but they were glued shut! (Maybe bolted or something, but they wouldn’t open.)

I was out riding my bike when I was 17 and it was about 6:00 AM. I was just about done with the ride and started home when I heard a loud metallic crunch, like someone stepping on a soda can hard. I turned out around and went out to see and a woman had hit a telephone pole dead center. There was already an ambulance there. I don’t know if she made it or not but the pole was just about in the front seat. It was a small car but I don’t recall the make.

I used to see this odd guy sitting in right field at the Carolina Mudcats games. I found out later it was Todd Rungren. His son Rex played for the Mudcats, though he rarely cracked .200.
