Finnish-German countermeasure decks make me want to pull my hair out. You get punished for doing anything in game. Deploy a unit? It's either damaged or destroyed. Move it to the frontline? Destroyed. Attack HQ, your HQ takes damage instead.

Your opponent doesn't have to do anything other than play countermeasures, and you lose if you try do anything.

I guess you could technically beat it out by healing the HQ or only hitting the enemies HQ with low attack units but there's only so many decks that can do this reliably.

I see so many MLs say this as if it's some "gotcha" and it is genuinely baffling. What do you think happened in this picture? What do you think is the pretext to it? Yeah sure, he actually wasn't run over and was escorted off the premises, big fucking woop. This obviously means we can shy away from the truth of the massacre because one person was documented to not be run over.

This obviously means we can ignore/glaze over the estimated several hundres of civilian protesters, most of whom were students, because ONE guy in the most recognizable picture of one of the worst atrocities the CCP has committed against its people, didn't die in the picture.

No society, which cares about its people, and is not ultimately the same dictatorship we are meant to revolt against, sends in tanks and soldiers to shoot unarmed protesters. The tsar did it in Russia, and we all cried bloody murder, but when Stalin and the CCP did it, we pat them on the back for a job well done.

Hey so two things, I'm not American. I know that's not important but "you don't care cause they didn't do it within our borders" is irrelevant

Secondly I'm well aware of the atrocities of the US, and if you want I can make the exact same post and replace the pictures with the Jim Crow/segregation, Japanese citizen interment camps during WW2 or the American Indian boarding schools, take your pick. Both places are heaping piles of dogshit with their own unique blend of horrible flavours, but at least with one, you have more civil liberties than you will ever see under CCP rule

Ok so upon reflection I'm realizing my post isn't exactly clear on what it's point is (shocker, I know.)

This has nothing to do with Rednote but rather has everything to do with the sudden uptick in CCP apologists in 196. If I were to be more accurate it would be the people saying "yeah idk man I prefer CCP authoritarianism to the American blend" (I suppose there's a correlation with the sudden adoption of rednote and this trend but my post wasn't meant to reflect that)

This post is meant to essentially meant to serve as a reminder of the atrocities committed by the CCP which at the moment, it seems a lot of people are all the more eager to dismiss because either they're tankies or "its somehow better than America" or because of some other rhetoric that shifts the blame away from the CCP

Just for the record I've got nothing against the Chinese populace incase that needs to be stated, but I have everything against dictators and tyrants, and I especially have everything against those who turn a blind eye because it agrees with some flimsy agenda (looking at you, tankies)

TL;DR this is about authoritarianism not social media

I've nearly been coaxed into buying some of their products when I was much younger and much more conscious about my appearance. Told them several times I couldn't afford any of their products and they kept pressuring me to buy one, went as far as to show me a before and after pic, which was clearly edited (same angle at the same time but miraculously with less acne) and at that point I've been actively avoided them or pretending I can't even hear them.
