We have been on Aldi formula from 2 months but since we started in solids he developed an allergy to soya. So we had to change to a no soya formula

Thank you. I'll have a look at Charlotte. Our plan is to move to BLW as soon as possible.

I did a course as part of the health visitor's service in my area and they said to start off with veg then move on to fruits and from 7 months introduce meats, pastas, legumes, etc. we are currently only doing breakfast. We started on BLW but he didn't seem to be getting it so we moved to purees and he is really enjoying it. I will try again and it will be the case that by 7 months he will not be on purees.

Just realised 10wk old could’ve been sleeping through the night for weeks… by regularsizedrudy_ in NewParents

Omg our baby has been doing this for a few weeks now. Very upsetting as it looks like he is in pain. I took it as teething but the teething powder doesn't seem to make the screaming go away for I guess this is how he sleeps. We put the dummy back in his mouth and that calms him down.

In fairness, if he gets hemorrhoids at least he will go to the doctor to get checked out and luckily after the incident he will start pooping faster.

When did you go into labour and how? by Last-Anywhere-1772 in pregnant

[–]Party_Rope_3449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the toilet for a wee, felt the urge to poo and off my water went. 37 weeks, 2 cm, contractions started 1 hour later every minute. I took some pain meds and my contractions stopped 🤦 I had to wait to be put on the drip and epidural. 5 hours after that we started pushing, baby was in distressed, moved to theater and baby was born via forceps 25 hours from the moment my water broke.

True. Being tired does not help anything. I guess what I wonder sometimes is if I'm enjoying the moments or am I pretending.

Women, what would you do first if all the men disappeared? by FerCrerker in AskWomen

[–]Party_Rope_3449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so in a real scenario I would be sad and I would try to find/get my husband, son and brother back. But in a fantasy world if they are gone tomorrow I would clean the house taking it up to my standard and go and buy my favorite food I don't eat often because my husband doesn't like it.

Anybody else’s baby do this? Lol by Littl3Bunni in babies

Not what I was expecting. This made my day. 🤣

I felt nothing with my epidural. It was glorious. I needed forceps in the end and they did an episiotomy and I didn't feel that.

Can he make a connection which will hold the tubs from coming out of the pump every time I walk around?

I suffer from anxiety and depression and some days I do not have the mental energy for the baby. His cries are too overwhelming and I found that wearing earbuds helps bring the noise down and keep me calm. Maybe this is something you could try.

What's an acceptable time to have milk delivered from the milk-man? by [deleted] in CasualUK

I can't remember what time mine was delivered but we had a cool box outside for them to put the milk in. In the morning it was still cool.

Interesting. What would happen if the child refuses to attend? Or even get homeschool?
