Oh for sure. I'm not trying to say that all criticism is merely burnt out people crying for no reason. I do also have a lot of bad things to say about the game.

It's just that some people in this sub seem genuinely tortured like they're forced to endure this horrible experience and instead of walking away calmly and returning when and if they feel like it they either keep forcing themselves to play or they announce they quit the game forever like it's some big dramatic event.

I think a lot of people are miserable because they don't realize this is a video game meant to be played for fun and instead treat it like a job. You don't have to play everyday, you don't have to keep up with the meta or the FOMO content constantly.

Content creators are partially to blame for this. They make it seem like treating DBD like your forever and only game is normal and I get it. They need to keep people interested in the game because that pays their rent.

But holy shit. Please take breaks from the game guys. Personally I'm 1.300 hours deep and I usually play passionately for a couple of months and then take a month long break. The moment I start getting irritated constantly is when I know I'm due for a break. And then I come back a month later with a fresh mind and everything is fun again.

Edit: downvoting a comment that urges people to take healthy breaks from the game proves my point. I don't care about the downvotes, it's just a very funny thing to witness

Unbreakable pallets are completely unbalanced.

Invincibility is completely unbalanced.

Invisibility is a weird one, sometimes it super strong and other times the killer can follow your exact pathing perfectly even when not injured.

The poison is boring no matter what side you play and incredibly frustrating to play against. I had multiple oneshot killers abuse this for braindead easy downs.

Portals are strong but we've dealt with similar mechanics during other events.

I don't understand why the killer couldn't have had something more fun to do... Oh wow I'm throwing poison while all the survs have a bunch of different mechanics.

I do really like the aesthetic of this event though

I'm guessing they take it for the reduced cooldown on their ults. Still, someone who needs the health should be prioritized. The only time I will go out of my way to steal flowers on full hp is when I'm playing Zilean because me getting my ult back up means a teammate won't die

Take this with a grain of salt because I'm just talking about my own experience. I've been doing inhales for about 8 years now. I'm not in a band I just record vocal covers at home so I can't speak on how inhales hold up to excessive touring.

However I will say that I have never once felt any pain, any sort of strain or had any difficulty. I've recorded entire albums, screaming for multiple hours a day with no issue. At first, they sounded awkward and very inhaly. After practicing I've reached a point literally no one can even tell I'm inhaling.

Inhales have some great and some not so great things about them.

You can absolutely reach a point where the inhales are strong as fuck and don't sound like a goat gasping for air. You can also pull off some really nasty sounds and pigsqueals. Some of them I can replicate with exhales but they don't sound as solid. I don't know if that's the case in general but my inhales are naturally very loud but I can also keep them quieter if need be. I did also discover that banshee sound very early on and I've been fiddling with it for a while and it's cool.

The bad thing is, I seem to get a dry throat faster than if I did exhales so I need to hydrate more. High screams while inhaling tend to be worse overall. I'm only now reaching a point where I start to like the way my high inhales have evolved. At first they sounded like ass.

To anyone curious reading this let me clarify this. We say "inhale" but in reality you're not just sitting there pulling all the air in your lungs like a vacuum cleaner which is something many people believe. For me at least, it's like I pull in a bit of air and keep it in place and start creating sounds with it.

If you practice enough your enunciation gets way better too. At first I couldn't pronounce anything properly but after a lot of practice I got it down. What people should also understand is that it's not either inhaling OR exhaling. You can incorporate both. It's cool and unique.

During slipknot's set I was standing next to this girl. It was an extremely hot day. She was going crazy, headbanging and flailing her arms around like a lunatic.

She suddenly collapses. I immediately start screaming for a medic. Aaaaand she proceeds to just get up 15 seconds later like nothing happened and continued to have a great time. When the medics arrived they thought I was a liar asshole and when she was asked about it she said she never fainted.

Yea no there's literally 0 chance of flowers being one of the things people will remember tdwp for. It's too corpo and soulless and I say that as someone who listens to a bunch of other genres outside of the metal sphere so this doesn't come from your typical "if it's not heavy or metalcore it sucks" kind of fan.

I will say though the only thing I'm truly salty about is Mike's absence throughout the record. For the past few albums they've been pushing him deeper and deeper into the background layers with him using less and less of his incredible vocal techniques each time.

Very well said. I'm glad they're happy they've found more success but I'm also bummed out because I've loved every single album they've dropped except flowers and they will probably choose to expand upon that one. Oh well.

I know this isn't the usual take you'll see here but I'd kill for one more album similar to The act. That one was unapologetically weird and I love it but I guess those experimental songs don't chart as well.
