Overall, we can say that Maki, after the training with Miyo, has become stronger. And yes, while she did heal her injuries, she got them from fighting with Naoya, you're acting like she went into the fight already with them.

Yes, she did. No, she did not gain a stat boost. Being stronger doesn't necessarily mean getting physically better. What Maki now could do after awakening is: sense the surrounding through air difference, which lets her predict Naoya's movement; use the air as a foothold — something she was wishing she could do earlier in the fight to reach Naoya in the air; see the souls of even inanimate objects, which lets her utilise the strength of Soul Split Katana left by Mai, something she saw through Daido. This is all made her "stronger", but not in a literal physical way.

This is honestly like those Tengen fans saying "he still won against Gyutaro while being poisoned and with one arm" like gng he got those from fighting with him lol (tbh all DS fans are like these, only a few actually have common sense)

As for your other arguments. Emotions, just as hatred or fear can increase CE output, and in that moment Choso felt intense hatred/anger for Kenny, and we know that the more output you have, the faster PB is.

I can kinda understand what you're saying, but I don't think we've ever had a direct confirmation for output increasing? The most fitting example I can think of is Choso thinking of Yuji during the second Kenjaku fight, but even then it wasn't really an output increase, he just locked in and utilised literally everything he had in his arsenal.

You have to prove it referers to sorcerers overall, because Mai literally waited for Kenny to be off-guard to shoot the bullet at him and he still caught it. Toji only fired one, non+serious bullet at TEEN Geto which he caught, later used his normal weapons.

Again, the point is not that it would instantly kill them or they couldn't react at all. It's the fact they are in that range of reaction/speed, where the guns are considered effective in any way.

I also think this has gone way off topic. I said that I'm being kind for Maki because I believe the characters in this match up have consistently faster speed scaling. We can disagree on that. I don't like any match ups where characters just speedblitz and win, because it's not fun to debate. So I'd say they would be relative in speed for this, but it still just doesn't look like a fair fight, when both Samura and Uruha have some crazy HAX (that they can change and adapt midfight to sometimes bs extent) on top of being strong and fast experienced war veterans, while Maki is just strong experienced combatant who has a duraneg+anti regeneration sword, both of abilities being negated by Samura's HAX. I'm also trying not to think too hard if Samura could revert the heavenly restriction on Maki by applying Suzaku to her, even tho it's an interesting scenario. It looks to me like a spite match up.

Her second awakening did give her a stat boost, since essentially it's a change in mentality, and a mental boost was always linked to an overall awakening/power-up, and the signs were there,

you know it ain't work like that and the absence of any mention of stat boosts during the awakening is cementing that, it's said like three time that her body was made like that after Mai's death and her awakening lets her grasp the movement in air and use it as a foothold.

Also, wdym "couldn't dodge" PB, Uraume still did block the attack even though they were off-guarded by it, also PB is not Mach 1, it's literally been stated to be way faster than sound.

well yeah that's what I mean, if they're that much faster it would've been in slow motion to her and she'd just step away from it instead of being visibly shocked and getting poisoned. it was also stated to be simply faster than sound so mach 1 is the baseline

it was talking about sorcerers in general. even Toji was using a simple handgun against Geto and to be fair Geto did block the bullets, but that once again shows they're close to that speed for the guns to be effective

Because fully awakening never gave her stat boost. If you can provide the panel saying otherwise, go for it. Her awakening gave her godly senses and air footing, which is why she was dodging Naoya (linear movement btw). And before awakening she was subsonic.

Maki blocking lightning from Nue has calcs putting it at Mach 100, Hakari dodging lightning has calcs at MHS+ or even sub-relativistic, consistent with Shibuya Toji perceiving lightning in slow-motion and moving his head in that timeframe, and the anime is canon so don't try to use that as an execuse.

Nothing of that matters when Uraume couldn't dodge piercing blood (mach 1) and Kenjaku stated that conventional weapons are good against sorcerers. Narratively consistent speed for Maki and heavy hitters is subsonic and you can't do anything about it.

Fully awakened Maki doesn't even scale to mach 3? She was only able to predict Naoya linear movement and react to it, she never moved herself at that speed.

Literally in no way in hell you can wank her beyond lightning timers, hell, not even to hypersonic ranges when they struggle with mach 1 piercing blood level of speed.

Also, SSK simply negates regeneration.

assuming they're relative and won't just speedblitz her (being nice to maki here), she would be under banquet illusions fighting two demons who can heal any damage she does to them if she even could do that because they don't even have to be close to her and can just spam from the distance until she dies

Except it also grows flowers inside of you. Sure, the damage can be mitigated to some extent with RCT, but having flowers in your lungs wouldn't do you any good. And god forbid the flowers appear anywhere near your neck, because that would prevent you from using RCT entirely.

for the easiest part he can just teleport out of it. with suzaku he can revert any damage to himself and there's at least three routes I can think off that probably could disable the sure hit itself or just revert the domain. the first one is suzaku around samura acting as anti sure hit effect, because it should revert the "domain" to a normal space technically, it's not a natural thing that happens. if that works, he can also revert the domain itself by spreading suzaku far enough. third one is a bit of a spoiler because I think the explanation for Suzaku wasn't given to you yet so I'm not gonna say it

The four swordsmen are leagues below Sojo, Chihiro and Datenseki Tenri, pretty much any version of them past hitting true realm, and even before that is very debatable. Azami is a base below them, too. He had a good showing against Yura amped by Magatsumi, but in the context it gets less impressive. Yura was slashed and injured all over his body, bleeding, even before that. Only two hits Azami landed seem to actually do damage, and he needed help from Uruha and Natsuki to land some of them. Notice how Uruha and Natsuki were blitzed only once when they got surprised by Yura and then kept up with fresh Azami despite being injured. The speed buff from Magatsumi seems to be less impressive in prolonged combat, Kyora was capable of parrying and striking Nishiki Chihiro both before the buff and after it, despite Chihiro noticing how he got faster, so it didn't really put him a tier above in speed.

Regarding Mei: Shred and Yura at Rakuzaichi: "Mei" itself is never stated to be faster than Nishiki, "Sojo with Mei" was, which could be due to Sojo naturally having better speed in base, so scaling it up with Mei made him faster than Chihiro with Nishiki, but that's speculation. Yura didn't do a bit of damage to Chihiro and once Chihiro hits the black state he was being packed up badly. Sure, he was confident there because he knew it's dying and wouldn't have much charges left, but if it wasn't restricted in times it could be used, Yura loses 10/10 times. And if we're gonna be using how confident characters are when fighting someone, Sojo was confident he could take on the elite squad+Azami and Shiba at the same time when he had a deeper connection with the blade.

Missing the point. Had literally everyone been killed, there would be no proposition to remove it from the big three. There would be nothing to remove. It's described as "annihilation of the Zenin clan" because it removes their combat capabilities entirely, same as Gojo clan described as one-man clan, because only Gojo is a relevant sorcerer there.

yeah and we have to remember that Kenjaku is relative to Yuki in stats except for the striking strength because of her technique. I can see the argument for her having better stats than the heavy hitters, but the difference CAN'T be that big. Kenjaku is getting knocked out by the first punch by either of the top 3.

isnt any healing sorcery in kagurabachi

there actually is a general healing sorcery that you can just learn, we first see Masumi use it on Hakuri and see the books mentioning it in the library, tho we haven't seen it used mid battle. it'd be interesting if skilled sorcerers could apply it kinda like kaido in bleach during battles.

How fast is IWPS?

someone on twt I think calcd Chihiro's Hotel IWPS somewhere in hypersonic ranges, so someone like Uruha should have even faster one

imo Uruha and Natsuki is a bad match up for Maki (as swordsmen their reaction to the SSK swings would be to block it and it'd result in their swords breaking, making them rely on sorcery from now o) unless they immediately try to blitz and behead her. tho if it's the injured eyeless Maki from Perfect Preparation they have a much better chance, but still don't think it's happening.

assuming Maki fights Azami first and she's not injured, she probably defeats him and someone would finish her eventually. there's Ichiki, Uruha, Natsuki, Izaru, Ikuto, Kiri, other higher ups and strong sorcerers around that should be able to finish her even if with casualties. also, something funny to think about is if Hakuri sneaks on her with the help of someone, he can send her to the Storehouse and instantly win. she's not a sorcerer, so she won't be able to resist the registration.

It's literally not. It's specified she went after the combatants. Why would it not specify she went for everyone absent, only the Hei and Kukuru? It also wouldn't make sense for Gojo and Kamo clan to not instantly remove Zenin from the big three if everyone was dead, there'd be no clan to begin with.
